2011 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT - W12

This Bentley Continental GT is a very smart example of a wonderfully luxurious grand tourer, presented in a handsome colour scheme, and with excellent main dealer service history. Under the bonnet is the formidable 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, producing 567bhp, with all-wheel drive via the six-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters. The odometer shows 37,672 miles from new.

First registered in June 2011 – and recorded as a 2012 model year car at the factory – there is just one previous registered keeper on the log book, who kept the car for nearly eight years, making sure to have it serviced annually without fail. The current owner acquired the car around 18 months ago.

The elegant coachwork presents in superb condition, with flush shut lines and no signs of any damage or dents. The Onyx Black paint finish is smooth and glossy around the panels, with just some small stone chips to the front bumper noted by the seller. It rides on elegant 21-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels, which have some minor lacquer peel to two of the rims, but no unsightly kerbing damage.

In the cabin, the primary Linen hide provides a great contrast to the exterior, and is in excellent order showing few signs of any wear. The sumptuous front massage seats include full electric adjustment heating and ventilation, as well as memory settings for both driver and passenger. The factory-fitted equipment also includes dual-zone climate control, cruise control, touch-screen infotainment with a six-disc CD changer, Bluetooth phone connection and audio streaming, front and rear parking sensors with camera, and soft close doors.

Mechanically, this Continental GT is in superb order, having been maintained by Bentley main dealers with comprehensive annual servicing from new. The last scheduled maintenance was in November 2019 at 37,191 miles, carried out by Bentley Sussex. Prior to this, it was serviced exclusively by Bentley Hampshire, with recent visits in May 2018 at 33,233 miles and April 2017 at 29,195 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 20 November 2019 at 37,149 miles, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories. The tyres are all reported to be in good condition, under three years old, and with between 3.5mm and 6mm of tread remaining. At the back of the car, the boot is trimmed with Beluga black carpet, and with the original space-saver spare wheel and warning triangle present. Accompanying the car are all of the original books, stamped service record, two keys, and the factory supplied accessories and tools.

This Bentley Continental GT W12 is a supreme contemporary touring car, and quite simply a magnificent way to travel. Its exquisitely appointed cabin delivers first-class luxury, with it also benefits from a very smart factory specification. This is an excellent example that could be reserved exclusively for special occasions, or could easily be put into more regular use.
