2011 AUDI RS3 - ONE OWNER FROM NEW

This 2011 Audi RS3 is a superb one-owner example of the four-wheel drive hot hatch, which presents in excellent condition throughout and with a comprehensive maintenance history. Under the bonnet sits a turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine producing around 335bhp and 332lb-ft of torque, coupled with an automatic seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The odometer currently indicates 84,146 miles from new.

First registered in October 2011, this RS3 has just one registered keeper from new, who has cherished the car for the last nine years, keeping it in superb cosmetic and mechanical order. This car is one of the first 500 right-hand drive cars built by Audi, before production was expanded to a total of just 750 RHD cars, meaning it remains a rare performance model.

Today, the bodywork and paint of this high-performance Audi is in excellent condition. Shortly after delivery, a parked motorbike partially fell onto the back of the car. However, repairs were carried out by an Audi-approved technician to a very high standard. The vendor also reports some minor damage was caused to the front end while the vehicle was parked, which was also repaired by an Audi-approved bodyshop. It now presents with flush shut lines, smooth panels and no evidence of its prior repairs. The Phantom Black paintwork appears to be in near pristine condition, having benefitted from the fitment of a layer of PPF when the car was new. The vendor notes this has now been removed to allow prospective bidders to see the true condition of the finish. The vehicle rides on 19-inch black and brushed silver alloy wheels, which present in good order all round.

Moving inside, this RS3 features black leather upholstery, which is in excellent condition overall. There is some very minor age-related creasing, while the vendor has reported a very small mark on the passenger side front seat, as seen in the image gallery. However, there are no tears or other damage to the leather. The car comes with automatic headlights and climate control. It retains the original satellite navigation system, but the vendor notes that this is now very temperamental and is not functioning correctly.

The last service was undertaken in September 2020 at 84,052 miles, where technicians at Kings Hill Garage in West Malling changed the engine oil, filters and brake fluid, before fitting a new flexi brake hose. Prior to this, maintenance was carried out by Tunbridge Wells Audi, with technicians performing an interim service in October 2019 and a major service in October 2018.

The most recent MOT test was on 30 September 2020 at 84,053 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. The car initially failed a test on 29 September 2020 due to an excessively corroded nearside front brake hose ferrule, though this was rectified immediately, and the vehicle passed on a re-test. The wheels are wrapped with Continental SportContact tyres all round, in size 235/35 ZR19 at the front and 225/35 ZR19 at the rear, which the vendor reports have between 5-6mm of tread remaining.

Accompanying the vehicle is the original handbook, alongside various pieces of maintenance documentation. The original stamped maintenance record was mislaid at the first service, but was replaced with a duplicate item by Audi. As all but the most recent service was completed by Audi, bidders can of course also cross reference this with data held on the main dealer system.

This Audi RS3 is a thrilling contemporary hot hatch, combining impressive performance with everyday practicality and a comfortable interior.
