2011 ASTON MARTIN DBS

This 2011 Aston Martin DBS is an elegant luxury supercar, presented in a lesser-seen factory hue and with very low mileage from new. Under the bonnet is the 510bhp 5.9-litre V12, which powers the rear wheels via a semi-automatic six-speed ‘Touchtronic II’ transmission with paddle shifters. The odometer displays only 15,373 miles.

First unveiled in 2007, the Aston Martin DBS took the already popular DB9 grand tourer and added an aggressive edge, with enhanced performance, sharper styling and a generally sportier feel.

First registered on 24 May 2011, this handsome example was specified with Morning Frost White pearlescent paintwork over a black leather interior, and features the optional 2+2 seating arrangement, enhancing its practicality.

The vendor states that the car has been well cared-for and used sparingly, having often been used for short journeys around its former keeper’s village, and has been warmed to temperature before every drive. This DBS was acquired by its most recent private owner two years ago, and is now offered for sale by the trade. Its rare colour is underscored by the vendor’s understanding that there is not another DBS Coupe on the market in this hue.

Menacing and elegant in equal measure, the car’s bodywork is presented in excellent order, with impressive shut lines and no signs of previous damage. The Morning Frost White pearlescent paintwork is also in very good condition, and has a smooth and glossy appearance across the car. While the seller notes a 2mm bubble on the driver’s side quarter panel this is only noticeable on close inspection. Elsewhere, the finish has been maintained by qualified detailers, and it is protected by both paint protection film and a ceramic coating.

The exterior details, including the carbon-fibre mirror arms, two-piece front lip spoiler and rear diffuser are all in great shape, and the taillights are in as-new condition, having been replaced under warranty in December 2020 due to condensation inside the original units.

This British supercar rides on its original 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels, which are in excellent condition, with no blemishes or kerb scratches on their diamond-turned faces. Behind, subtle black brake callipers grip the carbon-ceramic discs.

In the cabin, the electrically-adjustable sports seats, optional rear seats, door cards and dashboard are clad in smooth black leather, which presents very well. Though there is some general age-related creasing to the upholstery, particularly on the front seats’ bolsters, this in no way detracts from the impressive condition of the interior, which still retains its ‘new leather’ scent. There is also a small mark on the driver’s armrest. The Piano Black centre console is in superb order, as are the door cards’ glossy carbon-fibre sections.

Standard equipment includes a 1000-watt Bang & Olufsen Beosound sound system, satellite navigation, electrically-adjustable seats with memory settings, and front and rear parking sensors. The vendor states that all of the interior buttons, switches and electrical items work without fault, and that there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

Fresh from a thorough inspection by Aston Martin, this DBS is reported to be in genuinely superb mechanical order, and has been routinely serviced every year, regardless of its mileage. Its most recent routine maintenance was an oil service, carried out in December 2020 at 15,280 miles by Grange Aston Martin, Birmingham.

Prior to this, the car was serviced in January 2019 and August 2018 at Aston Martin Edinburgh, in line with the manufacturer’s schedule. A full summary is included below. While in the most recent private ownership, the brake hoses have been replaced, and the wheel bolts have been treated for minor surface corrosion. The brake discs and pads are also described as being in very good order, owing to the car’s low mileage and limited use.

This performance GT’s extended warranty is valid until March 2021 and can be transferred to the next owner, who can then choose to continue to purchase additional cover if they wish.

Its most recent MOT test was conducted on 15 January 2021 at 15,322 miles, resulting in a first-time pass without any advisories. All four wheels are fitted with AMS-branded Pirelli P Zero tyres, which the vendor states have 4-5mm of tread remaining and appear to be in great shape.

The car will be accompanied by its original stamped service book, past MOT test certificates and warranty documents.

Offering supercar performance, signature luxury and refined comfort in one package, the Aston Martin DBS is a spectacular modern grand tourer. Routinely serviced by Aston Martin main dealers from new and presented in an uncommon factory colour, this low-mileage example will make a fine addition to any collection, and is sure to bring a smile to its next owner’s face whenever they fire up its mighty V12.
