2010 JAGUAR XKR 75TH ANNIVERSARY

This 2010 Jaguar XKR is a faster and more powerful version of the stylish grand tourer, built to celebrate the marque’s 75th anniversary with a number of factory extras. Under the bonnet sits the supercharged 523bhp 5.0-litre V8, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 52,578 miles from new.

The 75th Anniversary model saw a power boost from 503 to 523bhp, while torque rose from 461 to 483lb-ft, resulting in a 0-60mph time of around 4.4 seconds. Spring rates were increased, while the suspension was also lowered and stiffened. Understood to be one of just 20 right-hand-drive examples of the 75th Anniversary model, this XKR was first registered in October 2010 and has now been with its current keeper for three years.

The distinguished bodywork of this XKR is all in good shape, and it is finished with Stratos Grey paintwork, which is described as being in excellent condition. The vendor reports that the front spoiler is scuffed, though the skirts, quad exhausts and carbon-fibre wing mirror caps are free of any major blemishes. The vehicle rides on a set of refurbished 20-inch 14-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is trimmed with black leather, which remains entirely original and has just some light creasing to the seat bolsters and perforated centre panels. The leather-clad door cards are in good condition, and the Bowers & Wilkins speakers are surrounded by a plush grey fabric. The piano black dashboard plastics and surrounding grey trim are all free of any significant scratches, and all of the electrics are believed to work as they should.

The Jaguar comes with comprehensive service history from new. The last routine maintenance was undertaken in January 2021 at 52,010 miles, where specialist technicians at North London Jaguars changed the engine oil and filter, before refurbishing the wheels and fitting new Pirelli P Zero tyres. Prior to this, routine maintenance was undertaken in November 2019 at 49,839 miles by North London Jaguars, while in September 2018 at 46,463 miles, technicians at Classic Engineering (Jaguar) Ltd in Waltham Cross changed the fluids and re-gassed the air-conditioning system.

The most recent MOT test was on 23 September 2019 at 49,198 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manuals, stamped service book, and 75th Anniversary certificate.

This Jaguar XKR is a very rare special-edition example of the high-performance GT car, built to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the marque. Believed to be one of only 20 right-hand-drive examples produced, this XKR would make a refined addition to any collection, and is set to thrill and delight its next owner whenever they get behind the wheel.
