2010 FORD F-150 SVT RAPTOR SUPERCAB

This Ford F-150 SVT Raptor is an eye-catching high-performance pick-up truck, which benefits from numerous upgrades. Under the substantial bonnet is a 6.2-litre V8 producing 411bhp and 434lb-ft of torque in stock form. This power is delivered to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic gearbox. It can run in rear-wheel-drive mode with on-demand all-wheel drive, or four-wheel-drive mode via locking differentials. The odometer reads approximately 116,000 km (72,000 miles).

First registered on 1 October 2010, this SuperCab Raptor was purchased by the current vendor when it was two years old from Ford dealer Al Tayer Motors of Dubai. It was used as the vendor’s family vehicle for eight years in that city region, being serviced regularly. The truck was imported into the UK approximately one year ago, and re-registered in September 2019.

Introduced in 2010, the Ford F150 Raptor used Fox Racing internal bypass suspension shocks with extra reservoirs, allowing for 11 inches of front suspension travel and 12 inches at the rear. The towing capacity is an impressive 2,700kg, making it a practical hauler for vehicles, jet skis and small boats.

This F-150’s paint finish is reported to be in generally excellent condition throughout. There is a small scuff on the front bumper which has been largely polished out, but otherwise the finish is very clean. It is understood to retain all of its original body panels, and presents with flush shut lines and consistent panel gaps.

The Raptor has a 36-inch LED light bar hidden behind the grille, as well as Rigid Industries LED lights in the rear bumper. The rear bed features a motorcycle wheel chock which can be easily removed, as well as a protective barrier to stop items falling out when the tailgate is down. It rides on upgraded 17-inch Method Race wheels, which are in very good condition with no kerbing marks. There is also a Magnaflow rear exhaust silencer.

Inside, the Ford is a blend of contemporary features and rugged practicality. The switchgear is in good condition, with the cabin providing seating for five people via the rear-hinged rear doors. The leather upholstery is in good condition, with only minor scratches on the driver’s seat. The SVT Raptor retains its original features, including upgraded Sony stereo and subwoofer system, and with an aftermarket rear-view camera also making parking that bit easier.

The Raptor’s most recent service was at 110,431 km by Ford dealer Al Tayer Motors in January 2019, which comprised a standard oil and filter change. Prior this, an oil and filter change, as well as gearbox oil replacement occurred in May 2018 at 100,807 km, undertaken by BP Garage Dubai.

The vendor states that there are 13 services recorded to date in the booklet, and that the brake discs and pads have been upgraded to vented and drilled items with high performance pads. An improved power steering cooling system has also been installed. In addition, the rear shocks have been rebuilt by Fox-approved technicians, while the fronts were replaced under warranty at 50,000 miles.

The most recent MOT test was on 10 July 2019 at 114,158 km (70,934 miles). This – the Ford’s first UK MOT – was a clean pass with no advisories. Due to the COVID-19 MOT extension scheme, it is not due for another test until 9 January 2021.

Wearing matching Yokohama Geolandar AT-S tyres all round, these feature between 10-12mm of tread depth. The fronts are just over three years old, with the rears less than two years old.

A highly original example, the Raptor will be supplied with its full complement of driver’s handbooks, as well as numerous invoices for servicing. Furthermore, the appropriate UK registration of ‘V800 RAP’ is also included.
