2010 BMW (E90) M3

KEY FACTS

  • An elegant example of the potent performance saloon, finished in a tasteful colour combination and with an impressive factory specification.
  • Under the bonnet sits a 4.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine, sending 414bhp to the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shift.
  • The last of the naturally aspirated M3s with only two former keepers, this 2010 model benefits from the ‘LCI’ upgrades, which include LED taillights and updated interior trim.

  • It rides on its original 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, shod with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres.
  • The factory specification includes cruise control, automatic xenon headlights, front and rear parking sensors, a multifunction steering wheel with ‘M’ tricolour stitching, and a widescreen iDrive infotainment system complete with satellite navigation.
  • The car is accompanied by the full owner’s book pack stating the supplying dealer details as Ocean BMW Falmouth, various servicing and MOT invoices, an email from BMW Barretts Canterbury confirming the running-in service history and other services carried out by Ocean BMW Falmouth, the original toolkit, BMW touch-up stick, and two keys.

CONDITION

  • The Silverstone II paintwork is very smart, with only a few imperfections. These include a small chip on the boot lid and lower driver’s door seal, some stone chips on the bonnet, and reported paint wear on the passenger-side sill due to road dirt. All chips have been touched in with the official BMW paint stick, which accompanies the vehicle.
  • The owner states that the nearside rear wheel has starting to display some discolouration to its diamond-cut face and would now benefit from refurbishment. All four wheels were refurbished approximately two years ago.
  • Moving inside, the original Silverstone leather cabin is described as excellent, with only some slight wear to the driver’s back bolster and infotainment screen.
  • The car is in excellent working order, with no known mechanical or electrical faults.
  • The most recent MOT test was conducted on 30 September 2021 at 49,699 miles, when the car registered a clean first-time pass with an advisory for the rear tyres to be replaced in the next 2,000 miles. It has always passed every MOT on its first attempt.
