2009 PORSCHE CAYENNE GTS DESIGN EDITION 3

This 2009 Porsche Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3 is a superb limited-run SUV, which is presented with low mileage and in excellent condition throughout. Under the bonnet sits a 4.8-litre V8 engine producing 405bhp, coupled with the six-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates just 49,540 miles from new.

Limited to only 1,000 examples worldwide (and with fewer than 100 believed to have been sold in the UK) the Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3 is a special version of the acclaimed performance SUV, complete with a number of upgrades including a sports exhaust, Lava Grey paint with black stripes, 21-inch alloys with a matching anthracite finish, bi-xenon headlights, privacy glass, carbon-fibre trims, Alcantara head lining, and a panoramic glass roof. First registered in November 2009, this Cayenne GTS has four previous keepers on the log book.

To the best of the vendor’s knowledge, the bodywork of this Cayenne GTS has never sustained any damage nor had to undergo any repairs, presenting with smooth panels and flush shut lines. The Lava Grey paintwork is described as being in excellent condition, and though the owner has indicated a couple of very small stone chips, these are only visible under close inspection. The black bonnet stripes and Porsche Design decals present well, while the 21-inch alloy wheels are in good order, with only some minor kerbing marks.

Moving inside, the black leather and Alcantara upholstery is in similarly impressive condition, with the leather extending across the dashboard, and with red stitching providing a visual accent. The electrically adjustable sport seats feature lumbar support and come with the Porsche logo embossed on the headrests, presenting with just some light age-related creasing. Both the front and rear seats are heated, and the driver also benefits from a heated steering wheel. There is carbon-fibre trim across the dashboard, for the curved struts either side of the gear lever, and applied to the door handles. Along with the three-spoke steering wheel and gear shifter itself, all of this trim is in great shape with minimal wear. The car also boasts a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and there are no known electrical faults.

The last service was undertaken in June 2020 at 47,082 miles, where technicians at Elite Porsche in Belvedere changed the engine oil, filters, brake fluid and parking brake strut. Prior to this, in May 2018 at 38,596 miles, Elite Porsche changed the engine oil, filters, drive belt and spark plugs, while routine maintenance was also carried out in January 2016, November 2013, and February 2012.

The most recent MOT test was on 26 October 2020 at 48,943 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels come fitted with Michelin tyres, which were fitted in April 2019 and are reported to have 6mm of tread remaining on all four corners.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual and service book, alongside various maintenance invoices and MOT certificates, as well as the unused, original toolkit.

This Porsche Cayenne GTS Design Edition 3 is a very well-equipped performance SUV, which has a number of limited-edition cosmetic finishes, and which is presented in excellent condition throughout. A great all-rounder that makes for a superb family-focused daily driver, this is a well-maintained SUV that should prove to be a rewarding addition to any collection.
