- Prior to the introduction of the facelifted 987, the Cayman S Sport was introduced as a limited run with a range of desirable options as standard; including the Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE), Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with a 10mm drop in ride height, the Sport Chrono package and a set of 19-inch wheels with 5mm spacers.
- The wheels are fitted with a recent set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 4 tyres.
- Inside, it features hard-backed sport seats, an Alcantara-trimmed steering wheel and a 997 GT3 RS gear knob.
- Its original owner’s manuals and service book will be included, along with a history folder, a bespoke car cover, a set of Porsche winter wheels fitted with all-season tyres, and both original keys.
CONDITION
- There is no known bodywork damage.
- Its original Pure Orange paintwork is in excellent condition overall, with a few minor stone chips to the bonnet, front wings and rear arches. It received a Stage 3 correction and ceramic protection process to all external paintwork, alloys and brake callipers in mid-2019.
- Inside, a few marks can be seen on the driver’s bolsters and kick plate, but there is no major wear. The Alcantara around the steering wheel rim and gear shifter show signs of use commensurate with the mileage.
- No electrical faults have been detected.
- The most recent MOT test was on 15 October 2020 at 48,862 miles, which was a clean pass; the tester noting only the presence of factory-fitted under-trays.
SERVICE HISTORY
- Its most recent maintenance was in August 2020, where technicians at Zuffenhaus in Birmingham replaced the spark plugs and drive belt as part of a major service.
- In October 2018, Zuffenhaus technicians replaced the clutch, slave cylinder, exhaust gaskets and bolts.
- In September 2017, the vehicle was fitted with new brake pads and sensors all around, along with new front brake discs at JZM Porsche in Kings Langley.
