2009 MASERATI QUATTROPORTE - 31,591 MILES

This 2009 Maserati Quattroporte is a low-mileage example of the marque’s luxury sports saloon, presented with an attractive Grigio Alfieri finish and in good condition throughout. Under the bonnet sits the Ferrari-built 395bhp 4.2-litre V8 engine, coupled with a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shift. The odometer currently indicates 31,591 miles from new.

First registered in March 2009, this Quattroporte is understood to be among the last of the pre-facelift examples. It is now offered for sale by the trade, and currently shows three previous keepers on the V5C.

The bodywork of this Maserati is all in good shape, with flush shut lines, smooth panels and no evidence of any previous accidents. It is finished in Grigio Alfieri paintwork, which as you might expect of a car with such low mileage, presents with minimal wear, apart from the occasional surface blemish on the front end. This Quattroporte’s recognisable front grille is free of any notable scuffs, while the headlight lenses remain clear and the vehicle rides on a set of very smart 19-inch nine-spoke wheels.

Inside, the Nero leather is in very good condition for its age, presenting with just some very light creasing on the front seats in particular. The leather-clad door cards are in excellent shape, though the finish in the silver door handles is starting to deteriorate, which is a common foible with this age of Maserati. Though one or two light marks can be seen on the glossy plastic dashboard trim, these are only visible under close inspection. The car is equipped with satellite navigation, climate control, cruise control, and parking sensors, along with an aftermarket Parrot hands-free system.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in October 2019, where technicians at Nuvola London replaced the lower front shocks and bushes, before fitting new cam cover gaskets on both engine banks. Prior to this, in May 2019 at 30,075 miles, and in May 2017 at 27,764 miles, technicians at Joe Macari Performance Cars in London carried out a major service on each occasion.

The most recent MOT test was on 17 September 2020 at 31,441 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels are wrapped with Michelin tyres, which are reported to be in excellent condition.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manuals and service booklet, along with a number of previous maintenance invoices.

This Maserati Quattroporte Automatica is a smart example of the marque’s four-door performance car, which has been kept in solid mechanical order and presents in very good cosmetic condition. With genuine low mileage, a comfortable interior and the thrill of a naturally aspirated Ferrari V8, this Maserati would make an alluring motorway cruiser or a capable weekend toy.
