2009 FERRARI F430 F1 - LHD

This 2009 Ferrari F430 is an exhilarating modern supercar, which is presented with low mileage and in pristine condition throughout. It is powered by a rear mid-mounted 4.3-litre V8 which produces 483bhp, driving the rear wheels via a six-speed ‘F1’ semi-automatic transmission with paddle shift, and an electronic limited-slip differential. The odometer currently indicates 41,012 km (25,484 miles).

First registered in January 2009, this F430 has been with its current keeper for the last five years. It was imported to the UK from Italy, and re-registered on 2 September 2015.

This F430’s sculpted bodywork remains in good order, presenting with smooth panels, flush shut lines and no evidence of any accident damage. It wears the marque’s classic Nero Daytona paintwork, which is believed to be original and has been described by the owner as being in excellent condition. The front wings are embellished with the optional Scuderia Ferrari shields from the factory. The headlight lenses and quad-exhaust tips appear in good condition, while the car rides on its original 19-inch five-arm twin-spoke alloy wheels, which remain in great shape, and sit in front of the optional carbon-ceramic brake discs and yellow callipers.

Moving inside, the condition of the Nero leather upholstery is also reported to be superb, accented by contrasting yellow stitching throughout. The electrically adjustable seats appear with only very slight age-related creasing, and the leather-clad dashboard and door cards remain in great condition. Continuing the colour scheme, the car features black carpets and floor mats, which remain in good condition. Carbon-fibre features for the air vent surrounds and the centre dashboard console. An aftermarket JVC stereo system has been installed, which along with the remainder of the dashboard controls and switches is reported to be in good working order.

The last service was undertaken in September 2017 at 40,919 km, where technicians at Graypaul Ferrari changed the engine oil, filter and brake fluid. Prior to this, in June 2016 at 40,791 km, another engine oil and filter change took place. Meanwhile, in June 2015 at 36,540 km, Red’s Garage in Macchia d'Isernia, Italy, carried out similar routine maintenance.

The most recent MOT test was on 15 December 2020 at 41,022 km, which resulted in a first-time pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels come wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tyres, which are reported to have plenty of tread left on all four corners.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual and service book, as well as an indoor car cover, seat protectors and a steering wheel cover. There is also a handful of maintenance invoices from both the UK and the car’s time in Italy.

This Ferrari F430 is a thrilling V8 supercar, presented in impressive condition, a smart black-on-black factory specification, and with low mileage. While early versions of the F1 transmission on the likes of the 355 left a little to be desired, the gear changes on the F430 are suitably slick and rapid, making this a highly engaging and responsive mid-engined Ferrari, which makes for a great weekend toy or road trip companion alike.
