2009 FERRARI 612 SCAGLIETTI ONE TO ONE - LHD

This Ferrari 612 Scaglietti ‘One to One’ is a stunning example of the marque’s elegant grand tourer, which has very low mileage and a superb specification. It is powered by a 5.7-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, producing around 532bhp, coupled to the revised six-speed F1 SuperFast automated manual transmission with paddle shift. The odometer shows just 23,496 km (14,600 miles).

Understood to have been specified through Ferrari's 'One to One' (OTO) personalisation programme, this 612 Scaglietti left the factory finished in Nero Daytona with an interior trimmed in beige leather. It is equipped with the desirable HGT2 handling package, sports exhaust, and electrochromic roof, as well as the 20-inch ‘Challenge’ alloy wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes and cruise control. The new list price for this car is reported to have been approximately £249,000.

The car has been owned by the current keeper for the last six years, with just one previous UK keeper on the log book. During this time, it has always been stored in a heated garage under a car cover when not in use, and more recently has remained off the road in the owner’s collection under a valid SORN certificate.

The bodywork and paint of this 612 are described as being in excellent condition throughout, with few if any blemishes in the Nero Daytona finish. As shown in the gallery below, this is clearly a well-cared for car, commensurate with its low mileage and appropriate indoor storage. It features the Scuderia Ferrari wing shields, the HGT2 sports exhaust tailpipes, and yellow brake callipers. The 20-inch wheels are pristine, having been fully refurbished at 22,917 km, and house the substantial carbon-ceramic brake discs with yellow painted callipers.

Stepping inside, occupants are greeted by sumptuous beige leather upholstery, which covers the seats, door panels, transmission tunnel, lower dashboard, and even the sun visors. The leather itself is in superb order, with only a tiny mark noted on the driver’s seat, which is clearly shown in the photos. The front seats are heated and feature full electric adjustment, while there is also dual-zone climate control, the original media system and Bose audio, and optional cruise control. The electrochromic roof works as it should, and there is also a yellow rev counter and rear parking sensors.

The last scheduled maintenance was carried out in September 2018 at 23,464 km by Ferrari Birmingham, which comprised an annual service with renewal of the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, it was seen in February 2016 at 22,979 km by the same main dealer, for a major service that also included replacement of the timing belt, alternator belt, brake fluid, anti-freeze, and pollen filter. It has only covered around 33 km since its last service, and the belts will be due for renewal based on time in early 2021.

The most recent MOT was carried out on 15 December 2020 at 23,509 km, when it achieved a first-time pass with no advisories or defects. Since arriving in the UK, it has never failed an MOT test, nor had a single advisory note. The wheels are all shod in Pirelli P Zero tyres.

Accompanying the car are all of the original books in the tan leather wallet, the tool kit, and even the rare Ferrari seat covers and steering wheel cover - ideal for keeping these elements in pristine condition when not in use.

This Ferrari 612 Scaglietti ‘One to One’ is a hugely capable GT car, which boasts impressive outright performance, as well as excellent refinement and comfort for all its occupants. As you would expect from any modern Ferrari, it is a thoroughly exciting car to drive on your favourite roads - especially given the optional HGT2 handling package - but is also a great companion for long-distance road trips. Given its superb condition and very low mileage, it will do doubt also appeal to dedicated Ferrari collectors.
