2009 FERRARI 599 HGTE

This low-mileage Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a sensational performance grand tourer, presented in the quintessential Ferrari colour scheme of Rosso Corsa over a Nero interior and fitted with the desirable HGTE package. Under the bonnet is the spectacular 6.0-litre naturally aspirated ‘Tipo F140C’ V12 engine, which produces 612bhp and is coupled to the six-speed ‘F1 SuperFast’ automated transmission. The odometer indicates just 9,005 miles from new.

An original UK-delivered, right-hand drive example, this car was first registered on 18 December 2009. Its logbook shows four previous owners, and the vendor has owed it for just over a year, covering around 1,000 miles behind the wheel.

It is equipped with the coveted HGTE (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package, which includes lowered and stiffened springs, a thicker rear anti-roll bar, two-piece five-spoke wheels and a revised exhaust system. The F1 transmission software is also upgraded to enable even faster shifts.

The bodywork is in excellent condition, with no accident damage or dents in any of the panels. The Rossa Corsa paintwork also presents very well and is smooth and glossy across the entire body; although, there are a handful of small stone chips visible on the front bumper.

This car rides on its original 20-inch split-rim alloy wheels, which are finished in Grigio with polished lips. All four are in great shape, with no evidence of kerb damage. Its wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres in size 245/35 ZR20 at the front and 305/35 ZR20 at the rear. All four are in excellent condition and described by the seller as having at least 7mm of tread remaining.

In the cabin, the usually carbon-backed electric seats are clad in black leather with Alcantara centres and backs that feature red stitching and embroidered Ferrari Prancing Horses on their headrests, reflecting the body colour. Both are in impressive condition, with only minor creasing visible on the leather bolsters. Black carpeting is featured throughout and is in very good condition. There are some slight marks to the inner sill covers, which is common given their position in a high-wear area. All of the interior switchgear and electrical items work correctly and without fault.

The car’s last scheduled maintenance was a full service carried out by Ferrari specialists R&D Automotive of Eccles on 9 August 2018. Previous services were carried out by Ferrari of Leeds in July 2018, which included replacing the coolant and brake fluid, and by Ferrari of Manchester in March 2017. This 599’s last MOT test was on 23 March 2020 at 8,305 miles, where it received a first-time pass without a single advisory, as it has done on all previous MOT tests since 2015.

Accompanying the car are its original set of books, receipts for past services and its Ferrari build book, which documents its construction, complete with photographs.
