KEY FACTS

• Under the bonnet is a 650hp 8.4-litre V10 racing engine, which is as-new with 50 miles shakedown use only, coupled to an EMCO sequential transmission with Geartronics paddle shift.
• Originally built in 2008, this Viper GT3 was initially raced in the British GT by Aaron Scott and Craig Wilkins. It was subsequently repurposed for the 2011-2014 Dutch Supercar series, and appeared in the UK again in 2018 to contest the GT Cup in the hands of David Krayem and Speedtec Motorsport.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in bright red, this Oreca-built Viper is fitted with the full GT3 aero kit, including a prominent front diffuser, side skirts, and the ‘kamm tail’ rear end that is unique to the racing version. There is also a substantial rear wing.
• The car rides on 18-inch split-rim alloy wheels, housing substantial AP Racing disc brakes and callipers, and shod in Pirelli P Zero racing slicks. There is also a Bosch Motorsport adjustable ABS system.
• All of the usual motorsport equipment is present, including quick-release pins for the bodywork, an LED rain light, refuelling valves, a Lexan rear screen, emergency cut-off switch, and a Fuel Safe racing cell.
• The interior features a single bucket seat, Turn One steering wheel, plumbed-in fire suppression system, custom switchgear console board, and a full digital dashboard readout display.
• Its engine is in as-new condition, having only dynamometer test runs but no motorsport use whatsoever. The V10 has full MoTeC engine management, including adjustable traction control, plus a power distribution module and keypad.
• The car is accompanied by the original Oreca build file, including parts list and history.
• A significant spares package comes with the car, which includes - but is not limited to - dampers, brakes pads and discs, bodywork, wheels and tyres, radiator, coolers, steering rack, lights, differential, and drive shafts.

CONDITION

• The car has had general race car damage to the bodywork in the past, which has been replaced with genuine body panels when needed.
• Its red paintwork is described as being in fair condition, with stone chips and minor scrapes around the car as to be expected given its motorsport use.
• The interior is of course spartan compared to the Viper road car, but the trim that is present is in good order with no damage; and there are no known faults with any of the electrics.
• The car has been regularly stripped down and rebuilt as needed, where parts have either needed replacing due to wear or due to usage hours. It has been kept in excellent mechanical order, which is reflected in its recent racing successes through the GT Cup season.
