This 2008 Maserati Quattroporte S is an excellent example of the Italian luxury saloon, presented with low mileage and a comprehensive main dealer maintenance history. Under the bonnet sits the same 424bhp Ferrari-built 4.7-litre V8 used in the GranTurismo S, coupled with a six-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 42,483 miles from new.
First registered in December 2008, this Quattroporte S has only one previous keeper. It has been in the hands of its current owner for around six months, though has not been registered in their name, so still has only one keeper shown on the V5C. The S model featured Skyhook active damping suspension, along with an uprated braking system with cross-drilled discs on all four corners and six-piston callipers at the front.
The Pininfarina-designed bodywork is all in excellent shape, and the condition of its black paint finish has been described as generally superb, guarded by an application of paint protection film in the vulnerable areas. The vendor notes a couple of light stone chips around the front bumper and wings, along with one small scratch on the rear quarter. The car’s black grille, quad exhausts and other body trims are all in good order, while the optional 20-inch alloys remain pristine, as do the bold red callipers behind.
Inside, the black leather upholstery is in great condition, presenting with minimal creasing. The leather-clad door cards have some small scuffs around the door pocket apertures, though the red contrast stitching and gloss black trim that accents the dashboard is all in good shape. The cabin is equipped with, air-conditioning, parking sensors, heated front seats, and cruise control; and all of the electrics are believed to work as they should.
The last routine maintenance was undertaken in November 2020 at 42,300 miles, where technicians at Stratstone in Wilmslow carried out an annual service. A new battery was also fitted last year. Prior to this, similar routine maintenance was carried out in October 2019 at 42,253 miles and in October 2018 at 41,379 miles, again by Stratstone, which has exclusively serviced the car from new.
The most recent MOT test was on 12 November 2020 at 42,300 miles, which resulted in a pass with one advisory to monitor worn rear tyres, which have since been replaced. All four wheels are shod in new Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks, service book, original purchase receipt (for £94,721.54) and other documentation, along with a raft of maintenance invoices, two keys and the full toolkit.
This Maserati Quattroporte S is a fantastic luxury saloon, which has been kept in excellent condition by a marque main dealer and boasts an appealing factory specification. A stylish, comfortable and powerful saloon, this Quattroporte S would make a versatile and exciting all-rounder for any enthusiast.
