Its last scheduled maintenance was in February 2021 at Land Rover specialist Wye Valley Garage at 77,000 miles, which comprised a full service, as well as replacement of the front brake pipe flexi hose following the MOT test.

In 2018, the car was given a comprehensive post-purchase inspection and 20,000-mile major service at Wye Valley Garage to ensure that any minor issues were resolved, and that the Defender was fully representative of the factory specification throughout. The clutch was replaced, along with the drive belts and the tyres, with the total cost of the work coming in at £7,000.
