2008 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SPYDER

This Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder is an exhilarating contemporary open-top supercar, which has been well-maintained and boasts numerous desirable options. It is equipped with the Italian marque’s 5.0-litre V10 engine producing 512bhp, coupled with the six-speed e-gear paddle-shift transmission. The odometer currently indicates 31,845 miles from new.

First registered in March 2008, this Gallardo has three previous keepers on the log book, and has been with its current owner for the last four-and-a-half years.

The bodywork of this Gallardo is in good order, with crisp shut lines and smooth panels. The pearlescent white paintwork is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition, benefiting from a respray to the bonnet to rectify a blemish under the badge, but otherwise believed to be original. There are some minor chips on the front bumper, but overall the car presents superbly. Its original black body stripes are complemented by black mirror casings, and the 19-inch five-arm black alloy wheels.

The interior is in good condition and still features its original black leather upholstery, which presents with just some minor creasing. The vendor has indicated some minor wear to the three central buttons on the centre console, but overall the cabin is in great shape. The contact points and instrument clusters are in good condition, along with the door cards and black floor mats. It is equipped with navigation, climate control and heated seats, all of which are reported to work as they should.

The last service was undertaken in January 2019 at 30,613 miles, where BHP Ltd in Buckinghamshire carried out a major service. Prior to this, in April 2017, Belgravia Garage changed the engine oil, filters, wiper blades and washer jets. In December 2015, Lamborghini Pangbourne carried out a minor service. The maintenance history shows the auxiliary drive belt was last replaced in July 2013 at 22,000 miles. The clutch flywheel was replaced in November 2020 and the car has covered just 50 miles since then.

The most recent MOT test was on 7 February 2020 at 30,613 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The wheels come wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tyres in correct fitment 235/35/R19 at the front and 265/30/R19 at the rear, which the vendor reports have only covered around 50 miles.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual and service book, as well as numerous service invoices. The full toolkit is also included, complete with the factory tyre pump, towing eye, hazard warning and original white Lamborghini leather gloves.

This Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder is a thrilling contemporary supercar, presented in very good condition throughout, and with solid maintenance history. The Gallardo’s styling has aged well, and this well-specified example would be a smart addition to any supercar collection, offering the addictive experience of listening to the howling V10 with the roof down.
