2008 FERRARI 599 GTB FIORANO

This Ferrari 599 GTB is a superb high-performance grand tourer, finished in the handsome combination of Grigio Silverstone over Cuoio leather, and with excellent main dealer service history. Under the bonnet is the renowned 6.0-litre ‘Tipo F140C’ V12 engine producing 612bhp, coupled to Ferrari’s six-speed ‘F1’ automatic paddle shift transmission. The odometer currently indicates 46,250 miles from new.

First registered in December 2008, this 599 has just three previous keepers on the log book. The fourth acquired the car in June 2017, and has had it serviced annually at Carrs Ferrari since then. It is now offered for sale by the trade.

The bodywork is in excellent condition, with smooth panels and flush shut lines. Its Grigio Silverstone paintwork retains a metallic shimmer across the body, with the vendor noting some stone chips in the common wear areas, plus a roughly square patch of missing paint on the lower offside sill, which needs to be resprayed. The vehicle rides on 20-inch alloy wheels, which present in superb condition and sit in front of substantial yellow brake callipers. It is equipped with front and rear parking sensors, and has been fitted with an aftermarket Capristo exhaust system.

Moving inside, it features the carbon-fibre racing seats that are trimmed in stunning Cuoio leather. There is a minor scuff to the outer driver’s bolster and some very light creasing, but the cabin remains in excellent condition. The transmission tunnel cover, centre console and air vent surrounds are crafted in carbon-fibre, which also appears on the steering wheel rim with the LED shift light display, and for the shift paddles. Other than the installation of a Kenwood stereo, the interior remains entirely original. All of the switchgear works as it should, and other than a tyre pressure monitoring light, there are no other warnings on the dashboard.

The last service was undertaken in May 2020 at 43,024 miles, where technicians at Carrs Ferrari in Exeter carried out a routine engine oil and filter change, also noting that the clutch was at 35% wear at the time of inspection. The two previous services were also at Carrs, in March 2019 at 40,723 miles and in March 2018 at 37,638 miles. A summary of the exclusively Ferrari main dealer service history is included below.

The most recent MOT test was on 14 May 2020 at 43,029 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. This 599’s wheels are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tyres all round, in correct fitment 245/35/R20 at the front and 305/35/R20 at the rear. The vendor reports the fronts have around 5.5mm of tread remaining, while the rears have just over 4mm.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original 599 GTB handbooks and service book in their original tan leather wallet, as well as the factory car cover and two keys.
