2008 FERRARI 430 SCUDERIA

This Ferrari 430 Scuderia is an exhilarating lightweight road car, presented in outstanding condition and with low mileage from new. It is powered by the 4.3-litre flat-plane crank V8 engine, which produces 503bhp and drives the rear wheels via the six-speed ‘F1-SuperFast 2’ automated manual with paddle shifters. The odometer displays just 25,253km (15,691 miles) from new.

Originally supplied to its first owner by Ferrari Brescia, Italy, this left-hand drive 430 Scuderia was later sold to a French professional footballer, who in turn sold it to a dealer in the UK. The French number plates are still in the car’s boot as evidence of its history, and it is now offered for sale by its third owner, who acquired it more than five years ago.

The Pininfarina-designed bodywork of this Scuderia is in outstanding condition, with straight, smooth panels and no reported accident damage. Embellished with Grigio Corsa NART racing stripes, the Rosso Scuderia paintwork is also in great shape, and has a glossy appearance around the car. It has been protected by PPF, which is applied on the nose and bonnet.

As a Scuderia model, the car also features a carbon-fibre rear panel and wing mirrors, as well as recessed wing shields. This F430 rides on the correct set of 19-inch matt anthracite alloy wheels, which are pristine and house a set of matching red brake callipers and high-performance ceramic brake discs.

In the cabin, this Scuderia is a shrine to lightweight materials, with almost every surface featuring either carbon-fibre, Alcantara, or hardwearing fabric. The figure-hugging ‘Super Racing’ carbon-fibre bucket seats feature black Alcantara bolsters with Tessuto Rosso ‘3D’ technical cloth centre panels, and are accented by red stitching and matching ‘Cavallino’ emblems embroidered on their head rests. Both are in excellent order, with no visible wear or damage to their upholstery.

Black Alcantara with red stitching also covers the dashboard, door pillars and headlining, while the door cards are crafted from gloss-finish carbon-fibre. Ahead, the steering wheel is trimmed with perforated leather and Alcantara, and features a carbon fibre inlay and LED shift lights, helping the driver to execute perfectly-timed shifts in this motorsport-inspired supercar. The seller reports that there are no faults with any of the car’s switches, controls or other electrics, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

Presented in superb mechanical condition, this Scuderia’s most recent routine maintenance was a major service, which was carried out in September 2020 at 25,166km by Graypaul Ferrari, and consisted of an oil change and replacement of the oil filter, air filters, brake fluid and spark plugs.

Prior to this, it received a service including a brake fluid change in September 2019 at 25,077km, again at Graypaul Ferrari; and in October 2017, the gearbox ECU was replaced.

This Ferrari’s latest MOT test was conducted on 11 September 2020 at 25,166km, resulting in a first-time pass with advisories being issued for slight play in all four track rod end ball joints and minor wear to the nearside rear lower shock absorber bush.

The wheels are fitted with Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, which the vendor describes as being in very good condition, with around 5mm of usable tread remaining.

This 430 Scuderia will be accompanied by its original leather document wallet containing its service book and user manuals. Furthermore, a Ferrari-branded leather document case containing service receipts will also be provided, along with three keys.

This Ferrari 430 Scuderia is a fantastic example of the thrilling limited-run road car, presented in outstanding overall condition and with low mileage from new. Providing a highly analogue driving experience when compared to many of the latest supercars, it is sure to make every journey a drive to remember, and will be a credit to any collection.

Please note: when this car was re-registered in the UK, it was incorrectly recorded under the 430 Scuderia 16M spider model code; however, it is correctly registered as a coupe. This is purely an administrative error with no impact on the car or the ownership experience.
