This 2008 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is an elegant and exciting British sports car, with a glossy Obsidian Black finish and eye-catching two-tone interior. Under the bonnet sits a 4.3-litre V8 producing 380bhp and 302lb-ft of torque, coupled with the Sportshift automated manual transmission with paddle shift.

First registered in March 2008, this Aston has been with its current keeper for around 18 months. The odometer currently indicates 55,320 miles from new.

The car’s sleek bodywork is all in excellent shape, and there is no known prior accident damage to any panels. The Obsidian Black paintwork is described as being in excellent condition, with the vendor noting that the front bumper and side skirts have undergone a recent respray to rectify some age-related stone chips and scuffs. The finish presents with just a few very small blemishes around the rest of the car, alongside some scratching to the headlight lenses, and a couple of light marks on the soft-top roof. The vehicle rides on a set of refurbished 19-inch alloy wheels, which are in good condition.

Inside, the two-tone Chancellor Red and Black leather trim which covers the seats is in excellent condition, with some creasing to the driver’s bolsters and the outer edge attachment. The leather-clad door cards are in great shape, while the dashboard is trimmed with a smart combination of grey and piano black plastic. Some light scratches can be seen around the centre console, but all of the switchgear is believed to work as it should.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in October 2020 at 55,113 miles, where technicians at The Supercar Rooms in Kidderminster changed the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, The Supercar Room carried out similar routine maintenance in September 2018 at 48,262 miles, while in August 2016 at 45,985 miles, a service was carried out at Aston Martin specialist Trinity Engineering.

The most recent MOT test was on 11 March 2021 at 55,171 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The Bridgestone tyres are reported to be in good condition, all with around 5mm of tread remaining. Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manuals and service book.
