KEY FACTS

• A stunning modern recreation of the iconic 1960s sports car, bearing the signature of Carroll Shelby himself and with very low mileage from new.
• It is powered by a 5.7-litre (351 cu in) naturally aspirated Ford ‘Windsor’ V8, producing around 425bhp and driving the rear wheels via a five-speed Tremec TKO manual transmission.
• Built in 2007, this left-hand drive MkIII was first registered in the USA as a 1965 car, and was imported into the UK and registered with the DVLA in September 2013.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The Superformance MkIII is the only Cobra Replica built under licence from Carroll Shelby.
• Each has hand-laid fibreglass bodywork over a jig-welded steel ladder frame, and this car is equipped with Öhlins suspension dampers and Wilwood brake discs and callipers.
• This example is finished in the appealing colour combination of Titanium Silver with Viper Steel Grey stripes and a black leather-trimmed interior.
• It also features a Holley Demon carburettor, ceramic-coated exhaust manifolds and side pipes with stainless-steel heat shields, a roller camshaft upgrade, a kill-switch, an MSD ignition system and chromed ‘Roadster’ bumpers.
• It rides on its original set of 15-inch Hallibrand-style alloy wheels, which are in great shape, though there are some minor blemishes on the rear driver’s-side wheel’s spokes.
• Furthermore, the glove box lid has been signed by none other than Carroll Shelby, which is verified by a certificate of authenticity.
• Accompanying this Cobra replica are its soft top, tonneau cover and side curtains, as well as all of its original handbooks and service records.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• The paintwork presents very well overall, with only a few minor stone chips around the car, in line with its limited use.
• Inside, the cabin is in great shape, and while there is some very minor creasing to the driver’s seat upholstery, there is no real wear to speak of.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults with the vehicle.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 13 September 2019 at 2,731 miles, resulting in a clean, first-time pass.
