2007 SUBARU IMPREZA RX

This 2007 Subaru Impreza RX is a smart and dependable millennium-era saloon, presented in unmodified condition and with low mileage from new. Under the bonnet is the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder boxer engine, which produces around 160bhp and drives all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. The odometer displays just 43,174 miles.

First registered in September 2007, this Impreza was sold new by dealer Monty’s Subaru of Sheffield. Having recently been acquired by the seller, it is now offered for sale to its next enthusiastic keeper.

Today, the bodywork and paint finish remain in excellent overall condition given the car’s age, with no evidence of any prior accident damage or corrosion. While there are a few imperfections, including a pair of small soft dents on the top of the driver’s-side front wing and minor marks from road use, these are commensurate with the car’s low mileage. This Impreza rides on its original set of 16-inch five-spoke alloy wheels, which are in good order, with a few minor kerb scratches on the rim of the front passenger-side wheel.

Moving inside, the cabin presents particularly well, with very little wear and no damage to speak of. Clad in black cloth with light grey bolsters, the front sport seats and rear bench are very smart indeed, with only the slightest signs of use. Elsewhere, there are a few superficial scuffs on the hardwearing plastics, but these are minor. This Impreza still features its original Subaru-branded stereo, and all of the electrical items, buttons and switches function as they should. There are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

The vendor states that the car has been serviced very recently (though not stamped), and the accompanying service book is stamped up to September 2015 at 33,428 miles, which included a service and replacement of the spark plugs at McCague Motor Services. While many Subaru Imprezas are modified to varying degrees over their lifetimes, this example remains fully original and unmolested.

The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 21 August 2020 at 42,179 miles, which resulted in a clean pass after the nearside headlamp’s aim was adjusted. All four wheels are fitted with Minerva Ice Plus tyres in size 205/50 R16, which appear to be in good condition and have ample tread remaining.

Accompanying this Impreza are all of its original handbooks and documents, plus the spare wheel, wheel brace and towing eye.
