This 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder is a thrilling, low-mileage supercar that has been subjected to a comprehensive upgrade to LP570-4 Performante cosmetic specification. It is equipped with a 512bhp 5.0-litre V10 engine, paired with the six-speed e-gear paddle-shift transmission. The car has covered just 24,987 miles from new, supported by a comprehensive service history.
An original right-hand drive UK example, it was first registered in March 2007. There are four previous keepers noted on the V5C and the owner acquired the car around a year ago. It has been in storage but run periodically since late 2018, and is now presented in superb condition – ready to be taxed and enjoyed on the road.
The car was upgraded to the cosmetic specification of an LP570-4 Spyder Performante in 2016 by Italian supercar specialist Autofficina in Surrey. The rack rate for the parts alone exceeded £55,000. They included a carbon-fibre rear diffuser, rear wing, side skirts and door mirrors. The front and rear bumpers were also replaced with the facelifted items, and the headlights were upgraded to the later design. Carbon-fibre interior trim upgrades included the seats, door panels and the centre console.
At the same time as the bodywork conversion, the whole car was wrapped in vinyl to match the factory Grigio Telesto colour. The paintwork beneath the wrap is described by the vendor as being in excellent condition. It sits on a genuine set of light alloy 19-inch Performante wheels by Fuchs, complemented by the Lamborghini centre caps and yellow brake calipers.
The interior is in pristine condition, equipped with the Performante sport seats that are trimmed in Alcantara. The transmission tunnel, door cards, steering wheel bottom, handbrake lever and instrument cluster surround are all finished in gloss carbon-fibre.
Mechanically, the car is in its original specification, with the only addition being a Larini sports exhaust system. It was last serviced in July 2018 at BHP Motorsport in Buckinghamshire, for which there is an invoice in the file totalling just over £7,000. The work included supplying and fitting a new clutch; a replacement release bearing; renewal of the brake fluid; removal, refinishing and refitting of the brake calipers, and new brake pads on the front and rear.
There are 10 stamps in the original service booklet, which present a comprehensive record of the maintenance and mileage from new. The car has just had a fresh MOT in July 2019 at 24,987 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. It is equipped with nearly-new Pirelli P Zero tyres all round, in size 235/35 ZR19 at the front and 295/30 ZR19 at the rear.
This Gallardo Spyder is a superb, low-mileage example of Lamborghini’s V10 supercar. It is accompanied by all of the original owner’s books, as well as invoices for previous services. A vast amount of money has been spent to give this car its striking appearance, with no expense spared to ensure it is visually indistinguishable from an LP570-4 Spyder Performante. It is a thrilling and attention-grabbing convertible supercar, ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
