• One of only 50 cars built, this is a collector-quality example of the F1-inspired S2000 ‘RJ’ Edition, named after – and personally signed by – both Honda team drivers at the time: Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The S2000 RJ was a special edition that was exclusively offered for sale in France, Spain, and Italy, and which most notably featured a stereo compartment cover that had been individually signed by both Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button – hence the ‘RJ’ name.
• Each car was also given individual numbering shown on the stereo cover, and they were all finished in Platinum White with two-tone black and red upholstery.
• Factory equipment included the colour-coded hard top and satellite navigation.
• This is car number 47 of the 50 built.
• Its original owner’s manuals, service book, and two keys will be included.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The vendor states that the Platinum White finish presents in beautiful condition, reflective of its exceptionally low mileage to date.
• Similarly, its two-tone black and red leather upholstery is in excellent condition, and no electrical issues have been detected.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was in July 2021 at 1,970 km, where technicians changed the engine oil and filter.
• A previous service was performed in March 2019 by Honda Autoser in Madrid, which also included new brake fluid.

SUMMARY

This Honda S2000 RJ is a Formula One-inspired roadster, with signatures from both team drivers of the era, which is offered in superb condition. It has little more than running-in mileage on the odometer, and would make a fantastic addition to an assembly of rare modern sports cars.
