2007 AUDI R8 4.2 V8 MANUAL

This Audi R8 V8 is an excellent example of the German marque’s engaging analogue supercar, finished in elegant Daytona Grey Pearl Effect paintwork. Its 4.2-litre V8 engine produces 414bhp and is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. The odometer currently indicates 64,485km.

First registered in 2007, this R8 has been with its current keeper for the past two-and-a-half years. During their ownership they have upgraded the suspension with BC Racing coilovers, adjustable for height and 30 levels of dampening, and fitted a vocal Frequency Intelligent exhaust system.

The exterior of the vehicle presents in good condition, with the Daytona Grey showing off the lines of the vehicle well and perfectly complemented by the gloss black 19-inch five-arm double-spoke alloy wheels and red calipers. The owner reports some wear commensurate with the age of the vehicle, including some minor stone chips, a scratch on the right-side blade, scratches around the fuel cap and a small crack in the right rear taillight.

Inside the vehicle, the black interior is in very good condition, with the smart and understated design accented by the glorious gated shifter. The owner reports the seats to be in great shape, with minimal wear. Some minor scratching in present on the gear knob and some of the door trim has lifted slightly. All of the controls work as they should, with just the suspension light on due to the fitment of the coilover suspension.

This R8 has benefitted from a fastidious owner who submitted the vehicle to a pre-sale inspection and service on 22 April 2021 at Automotion with technician Ben Woods, an ex-Audi R8 specialist. A minor oil leak was found and repaired, a door lock fixed, and a cooling fan replaced that was showing signs of its age. Prior to this, a standard service was performed in June 2020 and a new battery and fluids replaced at the service before in November 2019.

Early in the current vendor's time with the vehicle, the air-conditioning compressor was replaced, with the opportunity taken to also replace the heat shielding and clutch. The Audi underwent a technical inspection on 22 April 2021, with the aforementioned oil leak repaired and no other warnings or advisories being issued. The vehicle comes supplied with invoices for all work carried out during the current ownership, as well as photos of the logbook from the previous owner.

This Audi R8 is one of the most versatile supercars available, with a compelling mix of exciting performance, usability, and reliability.
