2007 ASTON MARTIN V8 VANTAGE

This 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a handsome contemporary sports car, presented in a timeless black-on-black specification and with very low mileage. Under the bonnet is the 380bhp 4.3-litre V8, which drives the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. The odometer displays just 22,107 miles from new.

The first car to use Aston Martin’s second-generation VH chassis architecture, the V8 Vantage was introduced in 2005, with its Henrik Fisker-designed bodywork attracting widespread praise and numerous awards. First registered on 11 May 2007, this smart example is now offered for sale by the trade.

This V8 Vantage’s bodywork is in excellent condition, with no evidence of any prior accident damage and straight, dent-free panels. Its Onyx Black metallic paintwork also presents beautifully, with some recent paint correction to bring it up to an impressive standard.

The sporting aesthetic is further enhanced by replacement of its standard red tail lights with the clear-lens units from a V8 Vantage S, and a mesh grille has also been fitted in the lower front bumper opening. It rides on the original 19-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels, which are in good order but would benefit from refurbishment in due course.

On stepping into the cabin, you are met by swathes of smooth black leather, which is offset by white contrast stitching. Both of the seats are in great shape, with only some very light creases to their outer bolsters and some fine scratches to the upper-left section of the passenger seat. The car’s touchpoints, including its perforated leather steering wheel and gear knob are very smart, and there are no noticeable marks on the dark grey and piano black centre console. Factory-fitted equipment includes electrically adjustable seats with memory settings, climate control and rear parking sensors. All of the car’s buttons, switches and electrical items work without fault, and there are no warning lights displayed on the dashboard.

This Vantage’s most recent routine maintenance on record was carried out in May 2015 at 14,620 miles by an Aston Martin main dealer, which performed a full service including an oil and filter change. The two prior services to this were at 12,582 miles and 12,078 miles.

Its last MOT test was conducted on 24 February 2021 at 22,022 miles, resulting in a first-time pass with no advisories. All four wheels are shod in Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tyres, which the vendor states are in very good condition.

The car will be accompanied by all of its original handbooks and stamped service book, as well as its full original tool kit.

This Aston Martin V8 Vantage is a superb example of the acclaimed British performance car. While it would benefit from a fresh service, this coupe is presented in excellent condition, and it is sleek styling and sublime engine note are sure to bring a smile to its next owner’s face on every outing.
