EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Finished in eye-catching Chili Red over a Panther Black interior, this Cooper S was also specified with the black bonnet stripes, black roof, black mirror caps, and additional front driving lamps.
• It was ordered with the Chili Pack, adding a leather steering wheel, xenon headlights, 17-inch alloys, a rear roof spoiler, and sport suspension. The wheels on this car are all fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres.
• While Chili trim brought half-leather seats, this car was upgraded to full Panther Black leather with heated front seats.
• It is also equipped with the cockpit Chrono pack, a colour-coded gear knob and other interior trim, chrome line interior, and tinted rear windows.
• Accompanying the car are all of the original books, including the stamped service record, plus several service invoices and numerous old MOT certificates. Even the original sales invoice from March 2006 is included.

CONDITION

• The car previously suffered from some accident damage to the driver’s side, leading to its door being replaced rather than repaired. The car remains HPI clear.
• Other than the new door, its Chili Red paintwork is all original and in generally good condition. There are some small stone chips around the front, and some other blemishes consistent with age as per the pictures, including surface damage to the finish on the bonnet. The vendor also notes it would benefit from a full machine polish.
• Inside, the Panther Black leather is in excellent order, with minor creases and wrinkles on the front seats, and some small scuff wear on the driver’s seat outer bolster.
• The vendor reports that there is a small leak in the boot, which is understood to be a common foible.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.
• The most recent MOT test was on 6 March 2021 at 18,492 miles, which resulted in a pass with no advisories after one missing wheel bolt was replaced.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The first two services were carried out at supplying main dealer Sytner Harold Wood, and since 2013 it has been serviced solely at independent workshop Gidea Motors in Romford.
• It was last given a full service in January 2020 at 18,183 miles by Gidea Motors. Prior to this, it was serviced in February 2019 at 17,365 miles, and in February 2016 at 15,212 miles; with both visits including engine oil and filter, and a new air filter. Two new Pirelli tyres were also fitted during the 2019 service.
