CONDITION

• No known prior body damage.
• The Iridium Silver paintwork is believed to be entirely original and is in excellent condition overall, with some small stone chips on the lower front bumper and the driver’s door, as well as light scuffs on the passenger-side of the front lip spoiler, though this is only visible from beneath.
• The exterior trim is also very smart, though there is a crack in the centre brake light lens.
• The cabin presents very well indeed, with only very slight creasing on the driver’s seat’s outer bolster and light hazing on the instrument lens.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults with the vehicle, and there are no warning lights showing on the dashboard.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 21 April 2021 at 38,418 miles, which resulted in a pass after the nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint was replaced, and a supplementary restraint system alert was tended to. Advisories were issued for slight play in the offside front lower suspension arm ball joint, and slight play in the offside front wheel bearing.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This SL55’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in January 2020 at 36,346 miles by main dealer Marshall Mercedes-Benz of South Lakes, who performed a full ‘B’ service, replaced all four tyres with new Pirelli P Zero items and fitted a new battery.
• Prior to this, ‘A’ services were carried out in April 2018 at 33,612 miles, and in April 2016 at 28,772 miles.
• The nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint was also replaced in April 2021.
