2006 FERRARI 599 GTB FIORANO

This Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a hugely capable super GT, with a handsome factory specification, and very low mileage. Under the bonnet is the mighty 6.0-litre ‘Tipo F140C’ naturally aspirated V12, producing 612bhp, coupled to the six-speed ‘F1 SuperFast’ automated transmission.

Understood to have been first registered in 2006 in the UAE, this 599 GTB was recently exported to the UK, where it was re-registered on 1 January 2021 to the current owner.

Its bodywork is reported to be in excellent condition, with no panel damage or known accident history. The iconic Rosso Corsa finish is also in great shape, with only a few very minor imperfections, including a chip on the left-side rear buttress, and what looks to be some touch-in repairs around the wheel arches to rectify stone chips.

It was specified from the factory with the recessed Scuderia wing shields, and also features front and rear parking sensors. The car rides on 20-inch monolithic ‘Challenge’ wheels, which have some very minor marks, and house the standard brake discs with red callipers.

The cabin complements the exterior beautifully, upholstered in Cuoio tan leather for the optional carbon-fibre bucket seats, upper and lower dashboard sections, door cards, transmission tunnel, and the rear luggage shelf. It also features a leather headlining, and a Cuoio finish for the steering wheel trim. There are modest signs of use on the seats, and on the steering wheel, but overall the interior presents superbly.

Its carbon-fibre specification extends to the dashboard strip with the air vent surrounds, the lower section around the transmission controls, the door card inserts, door sill covers, and the carbon-fibre Driver Zone with LEDs and carbon shift paddles. The carpets are slightly marked due to age, and some of the buttons have a sticky finish in places, which is common in this era of Ferrari. There are no known electrical issues, and all of the switchgear works as it should.

Its last scheduled maintenance was in September 2020 at 34,884 km, when Dragon Racing International LLC in Dubai carried out a major service, changing the engine oil and filter, and carrying out a full check-over. Under the bonnet, the serial number plaque on the plastic engine cover is missing. A summary of the recorded service history is included below.

This Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano is a powerful and refined grand tourer, which can also play the role of a riotous supercar on the right roads. It is finished in the perennially popular Rosso Corsa hue, with a superb interior that includes an extensive carbon-fibre specification.
