2006 BENTLEY CONTINENTAL GT MULLINER EDITION - 10,893 MILES

This 2006 Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Edition is an exceptional example of the marque’s cosseting grand tourer, which is in superb condition throughout. Under the bonnet sits the 552bhp 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12, which drives all four wheels via a six-speed ZF automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates just 10,893 miles from new.

First registered in March 2006, this Continental GT has just three private registered keepers on the logbook. It features the Mulliner Driving Specification, which includes 20-inch two-piece seven-spoke alloy sports wheels, drilled alloy sports foot pedals and footrest, a knurled finish for the gear lever, diamond-quilted upholstery, and an embroidered Bentley logo on the headrest. This example was also specified with Piano Black veneers in the cabin.

The bodywork is all in great shape, and the condition of the original black paintwork has been described as excellent. Commensurate with the low mileage, it presents with no signs of any notable stone chips or scuffs; and the distinctive grille, quad headlights, and speed-activated rear spoiler all present as they should. The 20-inch seven-spoke wheels are all in good condition, with only minor kerb damage. Its appropriate registration plate ‘W12 KCW’ will be included in the sale.

Inside, the black leather upholstery is in excellent condition, and the seats present with just some very light creasing, and no discolouration or damage whatsoever. The door panels are in very good order, and the Piano Black veneers that accent the cabin are free of any unsightly blemishes. The cabin is equipped with satellite navigation, heated seats and air-conditioning, as well as a mobile telephone and iPod interface for the infotainment system, and no electrical faults have been detected.

This rare low-mileage Bentley Continental GT has a genuinely complete maintenance history, having been serviced every year without fail from new, with 16 stamps in the book. The last routine maintenance was undertaken in November 2020 at 8,671 miles, where Bentley Master Technician, Curtis Johnson at Bentley Solutions, changed the engine oil and filter, before fitting two new windscreen wipers and respraying a faded under-bonnet plate. Prior to this, technicians at Bentley Sussex in Pulborough carried out routine maintenance in June 2019 at 7,140 miles and in May 2018 at 5,277 miles, when the brake hoses, two brake pipes and the solenoid valve and racket were also replaced.

The most recent MOT test was on 21 October 2020 at 8,024 miles, which resulted in a pass with four advisories to monitor cracked or perishing tyres on all four corners. However, these were immediately replaced with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres, which remain in superb order.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks, service book and bill of sale, along with evidence of the comprehensive Bentley specialist and main dealer service history. A Bentley trickle charger, Bentley indoor car cover, and an external car cover, are also included in the sale. A comprehensive set of receipts shows that more than £50,000 has been spent maintaining this vehicle to keep it in outstanding condition. It is also understood that the Continental GT was exhibited by previous owners at Bentley Drivers Club events.

Believed to be the lowest mileage example of its kind on the market today, this Bentley Continental GT Mulliner Edition is a sublime high-performance grand tourer, which presents in remarkable condition. While it is ready to drive and enjoy on the road, this is a collector-quality car that would be a credit to any assembly of modern classics or luxury vehicles.
