This 2005 Bentley Continental GT is a magnificent grand tourer in a handsome and incredibly rare colour scheme. Standing out among the usual greyscale hues, this GT is finished in elegant Barnato Green coachwork - the same hue as The Queen’s 2012 Bentley Mulsanne - complemented by Cognac hide and Burnt Oak veneers. With 61,018 miles from new, it has full Bentley service history and is presented in superb condition.

An original UK right-hand drive example, it was first registered in March 2005. It has six former keepers from new and the current owner has had the car since 2016. He has spent in excess of £10,000 over the last two years to make sure the car is in superb condition and wants for nothing.

The Barnato Green paintwork is in pristine condition. We understand from the vendor that it has previously received small touch-ups to correct minor imperfections such as stone chips, and it now presents superbly. All of the light lenses, chrome, door jambs and sills are in excellent order. The 19-inch split-rim alloy wheels are in outstanding condition.

Inside the cabin, the Cognac leather upholstery and Burnt Oak veneers give this Bentley a wonderfully rich and luxurious ambience. The leather itself is in superb condition for the mileage, presenting as lightly worn with no damage. Driver and front passenger seats both have memory and massage functions, and all of the switchgear works as it should.

In 2017, the car received its 12th service at 56,431 miles. Additional work included replacing the brake hoses, starter battery, parking brake motor and transmission sump seal. The radiator was also found to have a leak, so was renewed, along with the front anti-roll bar links. In total, parts and labour came to nearly £7,000.

One year later, the car had its 13th service at 58,865 miles. At this point, the brake discs and pads were replaced both front and rear, the air filter was renewed and the air-conditioning was serviced. It also received a new key fob battery and wiper blades. Just over £3,500 was spent on this occasion.

The car has outstanding MOT history, which includes clean, advisory-free MOT passes for the last six years and 22,000 miles - testament to its excellent condition. All four wheels wear matching Pirelli P Zero 275/40 ZR19 tyres that have plenty of tread remaining.

It is accompanied by two keys, the factory space-saver spare wheel and tools, and lots of Bentley dealer invoices. This Bentley Continental GT is a terrific modern classic that could be put into service as a stately daily driver or as a touring car for special occasions. The elegant specification is sure to draw the right kind of attention, while the comprehensive service history ensures this is one of the very best examples available.
