• Well maintained and offered in impressive aesthetic and mechanical condition, this 2006 Audi RS4 is a great example of the high-performance sedan.
  • It is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre 32-valve aluminium V8, capable of launching the RS4 from rest to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The motor is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission and Audi’s Quattro four-wheel drive system.
  • The car has been serviced by the owner in December 2021 in preparation for sale.

  • The RS4 boasts a very high specification, including the desirable ‘wing back’ Recaro bucket seats, flat-bottomed steering wheel, carbon-fibre inlays, cruise control, and Audi Navigation Plus.
  • It has been maintained in its original specification, with the exception of an aftermarket exhaust system with high-flow catalytic converters, and Bilstein shock absorbers and springs.
  • The car is sold with the original Audi RS4 owner’s manual and service book along with the most recent maintenance receipt.

  • Its bodywork is understood to be original and undamaged.
  • The Phantom Black paintwork is in very good condition for its age and mileage. The front end benefits from a respray completed in 2019 to rectifying stone chipping.
  • The interior presents minor surface wear, such as some patina in the leather of the front seats, and wear on some plastic buttons. The right-hand side driver’s seat bolster exhibits the wear you would expect of its years of service.
  • The check engine light is illuminated due to the installation of high-flow catalytic converters and the DME running a factory tune.
  • Beyond the above, there are no known mechanical or electrical issues.
  • The most recent roadworthiness test was completed in 2015 and the car passed without issue or advisory.

  • A routine service was completed by the owner in December 2021 at 157,150 kilometres. Work included renewing the engine oil, oil filter and spark plugs.
  • Similarly, the owner carried out services in December 2020 and December 2019. Both included a routine check, inspecting fluid levels and possible leaks, as well as an oil change, spark plug change, and filter renewal.
  • In 2017, its brake discs and pads were changed. The original shock absorbers and springs were also replaced with Bilstein parts.

Audi’s B7-generation RS4 made a splash upon its launch, offering a winning combination of performance and handling in a well-equipped four-door premium sedan. Some 15 years on, it remains no less enticing, and this well-maintained 2006 example would make an exciting daily driver, or a fun and practical car to savour on weekend blasts.
