2006 AUDI (B7) RS4 SALOON

This Audi RS4 is a well-maintained and unmodified example of the German carmaker’s high-performance saloon. This B7 generation model is powered by a 4.2-litre aluminium V8, which produces 414bhp and revs to 8,500rpm. Like all B7 RS4s, the vehicle is equipped with an engaging six-speed manual gearbox and Quattro four-wheel drive. The odometer currently shows 62,222 miles from new.

First registered in January 2007, the vehicle has had four previous keepers, and has been enjoyed by the vendor for four years. The current owner has maintained an Audi dealer service history for the duration of their ownership, which the car has benefitted from every year since its first interval – except for 2014. The car remains in its high factory specification with a raft of options, including the Black Optics pack, which includes a satin black grill, window surrounds and exterior trim.

The bodywork of the RS4 remains in excellent condition, with no reports of prior accidents or damage. The Phantom Black Pearl paint is in very good condition, though the seller has noted some small stone chips on the bonnet, wing mirrors, as well as a minor stone chip on the windscreen and another on the nearside front window. He notes that these are very minor, and certainly do not detract from the overall impressive presentation. The paintwork is believed to be original, as are the aluminium finish wing mirrors, and the car benefits from a Gtechniq ceramic coating. The 19-inch wheels present well, though the driver has noted that small blemishes are visible on two of the alloys.

The Audi Exclusive black leather interior is in good order. The vendor has reported some minor wear on the driver’s bolster, though notes it remains firm and supportive. The vendor has also reported a small, barely noticeable repair to the driver’s footwell carpet. The interior features, which include heated front and rear seats, an electric sunroof and a multi-stack CD player are all in good working order with no electrical gripes reported.

The most recent service was carried out at 61,561 miles in February 2020, adding to the vehicle’s near-complete Audi service history. The only time the vehicle wasn’t serviced by Audi was in 2013, when the vehicle visited specialist German Autocare. A full wheel alignment service was carried out in 2016, and the driver also notes a Cobra tracking system is fitted to the vehicle – though it is currently inactive.

The most recent MOT test was on 19 February 2020 at 61,615 miles, which resulted in a pass with one advisory to monitor a brake pipe which was covered in grease and considered to be possibly corroded. However, the car was serviced at Audi six days prior and the vendor reports that lubricant was used to conduct a brake check, accounting for the grease. During the MOT, four new Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tyres were fitted, which have covered less than 700 miles and therefore remain in superb condition.

The vehicle comes with a stamped service book as well as the original handbooks, sales brochure, pricing and specification guide, and sat-nav discs.

This B7 generation Audi RS4 saloon is a sought-after performance car with an engine that loves to rev, and responsive, controlled handling.
