2006 AUDI (B7) RS4 AVANT

This 2006 Audi (B7) RS4 Avant is a simply stunning example of the critically acclaimed high-performance wagon. Powered by a 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 engine coupled to an engaging manual transmission and rear-biased Quattro four-wheel-drive system, this example shows 64,452 miles on the odometer.

First registered on 29 June 2006, this is a thoroughly original B7 RS4 with a high factory specification. It features a number of desirable options including the Technology Pack, electric glass sunroof, TV function for the display screen, heated front and rear seats, front Recaro sports seats and a front centre armrest. Over £15,000 has been spent on this RS4 in servicing and general maintenance in the last two years alone, including an all-important new Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) suspension system.

The striking Sprint Blue paintwork is in superb condition, with very little in the way of age-related marks or stone chips. The wheels, too, are in near-perfect condition, with no sign of kerbing damage. To the best of the vendor’s knowledge, the car has never had any panel damage, with the even lines and smooth paintwork providing further evidence.

Inside the cabin, the well-equipped interior is in wonderful order, with the leather seats in excellent condition and showing only minimal wear to the base of the driver’s seat. The flat-bottom steering wheel, dashboard and door cards all have matching carbon-fibre inserts, which are unmarked. The door shuts, sill trims, and headliner are also all in excellent shape, and are testament to the considerate ownership that this RS4 has enjoyed. The only non-factory item is the upgraded Kenwood DMX 8019 double-din head unit, though the original factory stereo is included with the car.

More than £15,000 has been spent on maintaining and servicing this RS4 Avant in the last two years alone, and there is an excellent history file accompanying the car. The last service was carried out in December 2020 at 64,682 miles by Brighton Audi. During this service a full inspection was carried out, along with an oil change, brake fluid change, and with new spark plugs, dust and pollen filters being fitted. Prior to this, the last two services were carried out by Audi specialist The Phirm during 2019 and Audi Kings Lynn in 2016, at 60,802 and 55,840 miles respectively.

Significantly, the DRC system, front Quadralink suspension arms, and rear brake pads and discs were all replaced by The Phirm in September 2019. In addition to this, a new clutch was fitted and a full engine carbon clean was carried out in February 2021. A service history summary can be viewed below.

The last MOT test was carried out on 9 February 2021, and resulted in a clean pass with no advisories. All four wheels are wrapped in matching Pirelli P-Zero tyres with more than 5mm of tread. The vehicle is supplied with all the original Audi literature, fully stamped service history, a plethora of invoices and documentation, current and historic MOT certificates, two sets of keys, a full tool kit, rubber boot liner and two sets of over mats.

This is a truly impressive example of the iconic B7-generation Audi RS4 Avant.
