2006 ASTON MARTIN VANQUISH S

This 2006 Aston Martin Vanquish S is a handsome and refined grand tourer, with exceptionally low mileage and an attractive factory colour scheme. Under the bonnet sits the 513bhp 5.9-litre V12 ‘S’ engine, which drives the rear wheels through a six-speed automated manual transmission with paddle shift. The odometer currently indicates just 8,136 miles from new.

Introduced at the 2004 Paris Motor Show, the Vanquish S features not just a more powerful engine, but also a number of styling revisions over the original car, including a redesigned nose with a small front splitter, a raised boot lid spoiler, and new 19-inch alloy wheels. While it is a 2006 model, it was evidently kept in storage initially, with the first registration recorded as being in February 2008. This example has been with its current keeper for 12 years.

The elegant bodywork of this Aston is all in great shape, and the original grey paintwork is in excellent condition. Commensurate with the car’s low mileage, very few age-related blemishes can be seen, though the vendor has reported one small touched-in stone chip on the bonnet’s air intake vent. The vehicle rides on a set of 10-spoke 19-inch alloy wheels, with the red brake callipers adding a dash of vibrant colour to the exterior.

Inside, the grey leather upholstery is in superb order, with just some very light creasing to the bolsters and seat bases. The central armrest and leather-clad door cards are in great shape, while the grey dashboard plastics are free of any major scratches. One or two small marks are visible on the steering wheel’s metal trim pieces, and there is some light wear to the handbrake grip and around the seat controls, but overall the cabin is in excellent condition. It features the 2+2 seating configuration, giving it an extra dose of versatility. No electrical faults have been detected.

The car is having a full service completed at Grange Aston Martin in Brentwood, which includes addressing any potential advisory items, plus fitting a brand-new set of tyres. Prior to this, technicians at Grange carried out servicing in March 2019 at 8,018 miles, April 2016 at 7,931 miles, and in January 2015 at 7,856 miles.

While it is having a fresh MOT test during the auction, the most recent MOT test on record was on 8 December 2018 at 7,893 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original owner’s manual, service book and bill of sale, along with a navigation system DVD, two keys and a trickle charger.
