KEY FACTS

• A rare run-out example of Vauxhall’s Australian-influenced muscle car, in very good overall condition.
• Under the bonnet is a 6.0-litre supercharged V8, producing 493bhp and 500lb-ft of torque, delivered to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual gearbox.
• Developed as the final farewell to the Monaro, just 18 examples of the VXR 500 were built, in a collaboration between tuning specialist Wortec and Vauxhall. This is believed to be the final car produced.
• This example has been discreetly modified with some further performance additions, and has low mileage supported by regular maintenance.

• This Monaro is finished in Phantom Black metallic over a co-ordinating black leather interior with white contrast stitching.
• It rides on its original 19-inch alloy wheels, shod with Continental tyres and housing upgraded AP Racing brake discs, pads, and red callipers.
• Its factory specification includes electrically adjustable sports seats with three-position driver’s memory, cruise control, climate control, rear parking assistance, automatic headlights and a Blaupunkt stereo with six-disc autochanger.
• The car is accompanied by the owner’s manual, service book and original bill of sale, as well as some previous MOT certificates and invoices relating to upgrades and maintenance. The car also comes with two keys, plus the locking wheel nut key.

CONDITION

• There is no known bodywork damage.
• The Phantom Black paintwork is in good condition overall, with some minor stone chips across the bonnet, front bumper and spoiler, as well as a small blemish to the nearside front wing and bonnet. There is also a stone chip on the front windscreen. 
• Moving inside, the original black leather interior presents very well, with some slight creasing to the leather on the seats. All the switchgear and touchpoints are in good condition, with no visible marks or damage.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults. 
• The most recent MOT test was in August 2021 at 34,031 miles, when the car registered a clean first-time pass.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The car was most recently serviced in August 2021 at 34,010 miles by Handley and Son, who carried out a full service, which included replacing the antifreeze and brake fluid.
• Prior to this, the car received an interim service in June 2017 at 33,810 miles, and an annual service in June 2014 at 33,302 miles.
• In September 2011, the car received new AP Racing brakes all round, and the Pedders uprated suspension was fitted.
• The Pedders front road response pack and rear end pack were added to the vehicle in December 2010, as well as the Pedders Quick Rack.
• In June 2010, the Monkfish Magic Cam was installed as well as a Wortec tuning remap and LS7 upgraded clutch.
