KEY FACTS

• A rare example of the flagship luxury limousine; presented in highly original condition throughout.
• Under the bonnet lies the 5.0-litre ‘1GZ-FE’ 48-valve DOHC V12, which sends an estimated 308bhp and 355lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.
• This example was sold new in Japan, before later being exported to Australia, where it was re-registered in September 2021.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• This second-generation Century is finished in the distinguished hue of Kamui Eternal Black, and features a grey wool-trimmed cabin, punctuated by handsome wood trim.
• As well as being powered by Toyota’s first and only V12 engine, it also features air suspension, heated and reclining rear seats with massage function, a rear-seat media system and soft-close doors, while the centre of the front passenger seat can be folded flat, allowing the rear seat passenger to extend their legs and fully recline.
• It rides on the original set of 16-inch alloy wheels, which are fitted with the correct hub caps, emblazoned with golden phoenix designs.
• It will be accompanied by its original tool kit, jack, and passenger cassette player.

CONDITION

• The bodywork presents very well and is free of any significant dents or other accident damage.
• Hand painted, wet sanded and polished at the factory, the Kamui Eternal Black paintwork is in excellent overall condition, with the only noticeable blemishes being some light scratches on the driver’s-side of the front bumper and a small scratch on the rear passenger-side door.
• The exterior trim and brightwork is all present and correct, though the passenger-side boot strut trim is held in place with tape and a cable tie.
• Inside, the lavishly appointed cabin is particularly well preserved, and while there are some minor indentations on the passenger seat these do not detract from the impressive overall condition.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This Century’s most recent routine maintenance was carried out in July 2021, when the engine oil and oil filter were changed, as well as the head gasket.
• The drive belt was also changed recently, before the current keeper took ownership of the car.
