CONDITION

• There is no accident damage present to the bodywork.
• The paintwork is in very good condition for a Defender of this age, with only minor chips and marks commensurate with the mileage, along with some small scuffs from previously fitted roof bars.
• All four of the ZU alloy wheels are in excellent condition and are free from kerbing, being wrapped in matching General Grabber AT2 tyres with plenty of tread remaining.
• The interior is in very good condition, with the upgraded Exmoor Trim seats still presenting superbly. Elsewhere, the cabin presents well with only minor commensurate wear.
• The vendor notes that there is an intermittent fault with the ECU which requires the wires to be pushed in occasionally, along with a slight whining noise from the steering.
• The most recent MOT test took place on 20 July 2020, resulting in a clean pass with no advisories. The vendor has stated a fresh MOT exam will be carried out before handover.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The latest service took place during June 2020 at 67,242 miles and was carried out by marque specialist The Land Rover Centre in Kirkby, comprising of a standard annual service along with the fitting of two track rod ends, replacement wipers blades, a replacement radiator and the aforementioned MOT exam.
• Prior to this, the car was serviced in July 2019 at 63,528 miles and in July 2018 at 62,259 miles.
• In recent years, the rear brake pipes have had attention, along with new rear brake discs and pads, new hub oil seals, a crank angle sensor, Td5 fuel pump and sender, fuel pressure regulator, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder, and a new clutch and DMF were fitted in April 2016.
