2005 FERRARI F430 SPIDER F1

This 2005 Ferrari F430 Spider F1 is a very well-presented example of the marque’s convertible supercar, presented in the handsome combination of Grigio Silverstone over Bordeaux leather, and with low mileage. The car has a 4.3-litre V8 engine producing 483bhp, which is coupled to Ferrari’s ‘F1’ automated manual transmission with paddle shift. The odometer currently indicates 36,725 miles from new.

Supplied by Lancaster Ferrari and first registered in December 2005, this Ferrari has been in the vendor’s possession for three years, and is now offered for sale to its next enthusiast owner.

The bodywork of this F430 remains in very good order, and to the best of the vendor’s knowledge, has never sustained any major damage. The Grigio Silverstone paintwork appears to be in excellent condition, with the vendor noting the front bumper has been repainted due a smattering of stone chips, and that there is one very small bubble appearing on the nearside front wing. All of the light lenses, exterior trim and badging appear as it should, while the vehicle rides on refurbished 19-inch five-arm twin-spoke alloy wheels, which remain in immaculate condition.

The cabin of this F430 features the carbon interior package, and ‘Daytona’ style seats trimmed with Bordeaux leather which extends through the door cards and features the Ferrari logo embossed on the headrests. The leather presents with some minor wear to the driver’s seat bolsters commensurate with the car’s age. All of the contact points on the steering wheel, handbrake and gear shift paddles remain in good condition, while all of the switchgear is reported to work as it should, with no warning lights present on the dashboard. The original Ferrari stereo system remains present and correct, and has the factory subwoofer upgrade, while the car is also equipped with climate control. A Parrot hands-free system is fitted to support Bluetooth calls and music.

The last service was undertaken in July 2020 at 36,670 miles, where technicians at Ferrari specialist Keys Motorsport changed the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, in May 2019 at 35,274 miles, the vehicle was serviced by the same specialist, which included new brake discs and pads on all four corners.

The most recent MOT test was on 3 July 2020 at 36,670 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories, after the nearside rear position light was fixed. The wheels are wrapped with Pirelli P Zero tyres all round in the correct fitment of 235/35/R19 at the front and 285/35/R19 at the rear, with 6mm of tread.

Accompanying the vehicle are the original Ferrari handbooks and service book in their original leather wallet, alongside corresponding paperwork for seven services, complete Ferrari toolkit, tyre inflation kit and two keys.
