2005 FERRARI 612 SCAGLIETTI - MANUAL

This 2005 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is an eye-catching example of the marque’s renowned grand tourer, which is finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa and has been kept in excellent condition. It is equipped with the 533bhp 5.3-litre V12, coupled with the exceptionally rare six-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 56,912 km from new.

First registered in 2005, this 612 has been in the hands of its current keeper for eight years. It is believed to be one of only 44 manual 612s built for the European market. It was supplied when new by Ferrari dealer Autohaus Ulrich in Frankfurt, but the car is now located in Italy.

The car’s elegant bodywork is all in good shape, with no known prior damage. Its Rosso Corsa paintwork is believed to be original and retains a deep, glossy appearance, presenting with just one or two very small blemishes on the nose. The distinctive headlights and grille present very well, while the car rides on a set of pristine five-spoke alloy wheels.

Inside, the Nero leather is described as being in good condition, presenting with a handsome patina and featuring the Ferrari logo embossed on the headrests. The rear leather is in similarly smart order, though a couple of light marks can be seen on the centre panel trim. Some very light scratches can be seen on the metal gear knob and its exposed gaiter, and there is some wear to the plastic around the seat adjustment controls, but overall the switchgear presents very well. No electrical issues have been detected, and there are no warning lights on the dashboard.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in December 2018 at 56,300 km, where technicians at Rosso Monza in Arcore, Italy carried out a full service and replaced the fuel pumps. Prior to this, routine servicing was carried out in December 2012 at 49,498 km by Maranello Service, and in June 2007 at 31,881 km by Rosso Monza.

Its last Revisione roadworthiness check was carried out in March 2019, which will now need renewing if the car remains in Italy. Accompanying the vehicle are the original handbooks and service book, along with a car cover and the full toolkit.

This Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is an acclaimed GT car, which is fitted with the remarkably rare manual transmission, and which presents in very good order. With an intoxicating naturally aspirated V12 soundtrack, this low-mileage 612 would make a fine road trip companion, or a great choice for a weekend blast in the countryside.
