2005 ASTON MARTIN DB9 VOLANTE

This 2005 Aston Martin DB9 Volante is presented in excellent condition throughout and with very low mileage. It is equipped with the 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 producing 450bhp and 420lb-ft of torque, coupled to a six-speed Touchtronic automatic transmission. The odometer currently shows just 24,750 miles from new, which is confirmed by the online MOT history.

First registered in November 2005, this DB9 has been in the hands of its current keeper for two years, with three previous keepers on the V5C.

The bodywork is all in great shape, and the condition of its Metallic Black paintwork has been described as excellent. Commensurate with the low mileage, it presents with very little wear, with the exception of a few very light stone chips on the front end. The headlight lenses, body trims and soft-top roof are free of any notable blemishes, and while a couple of very small marks can be seen on the 19-inch twin-spoke wheels, these are only visible under close inspection. The only change to the factory specification is the addition of the later style clear tail light cluster. The vendor still has the original light cluster, which is included in the sale.

Inside, the tan leather upholstery is in superb order and presents with minimal wear. The leather-clad door cards and lower dashboard are in good shape, while the top of the centre console is finished with an elegant burr wood inlay. The brushed metal surrounding much of the switchgear is in very good condition, while the cabin is equipped with air-conditioning and satellite navigation. All of the electrics are reported to work as they should, and there are no warning lights on the dashboard.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in January 2019 at 20,524 miles, where technicians at Aston Martin Welwyn changed the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, similar routine maintenance was undertaken in February 2015 at 12,936 miles by Rye Motors, and in October 2013 at 9,654 miles by Stratstone of Wilmslow.

The most recent MOT test was on 1 February 2021 at 24,621 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects. The car’s Bridgestone tyres were reportedly fitted in January 2019 and are believed to have between 5-6mm of tread remaining.

Accompanying the vehicle are the stamped service book, two keys, two fobs and the valet key, alongside a selection of maintenance documents.
