KEY FACTS

• A very well-maintained example of the desirable limited-edition sports car, built to commemorate the iconic 550 Spyder.
• Under the engine lid is the naturally aspirated 3.2-litre flat-six, with a factory power increase from 254bhp to 266bhp, driving the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
• Vehicle number 1,244 of 1,953 50th Anniversary editions produced, it was acquired by the vendor in 2019 and taken to Autofarm in Bicester for a full health check, with all recommended work carried out and no expense spared.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• Created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 550 Spyder, this limited-run special edition is finished in GT Silver with a matching centre console, and GT Silver shells for the sport seats.
• Additional features include 10mm lowered sports suspension, a short-shift gear change, Porsche Sports Exhaust, air-conditioning, PSM, Litronic xenon headlamps, heated hardback sport seats, and a set of 18-inch Carrera wheels with Seal Grey painted spokes and 5mm spacers.
• Its original owner’s manuals and service book will be included, along with spare key and a raft of maintenance invoices and a November 2019 copy of 911 & Porsche World magazine with an article on Autofarm featuring the car.

CONDITION

• There is a small dent in the rear bumper, which has not broken the paintwork.
• The rear wheel arches and rear spoiler have been resprayed in the vendor’s ownership, and the GT Silver paintwork now presents with just a few marks on the front end.
• Its black leather upholstery remains entirely original, and has some minor creases, marks and signs of use, but no heavy wear or damage.
• Surface marks can be seen on the steering wheel, gear knob and seat backs, but all in line with the age and mileage.
• All of the switchgear is in good working order.
• The most recent MOT test was on 27 May 2021 at 120,117 miles, which was a clean pass with no advisories or defects.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Its most recent service was in August 2020 at 119,573 miles, where technicians at Autofarm in Bicester performed a minor 12,000-mile service, replacing the engine oil, filters, screenwash and front coffin arms, before performing a wheel alignment and tracking check.
• During the vendor’s ownership, it has been fitted with a new clutch, clutch master cylinder, steering rack pipes, windscreen, IMS bearing and RMS, along with new air conditioning pipes, brake lines, coil packs, front shocks, coffin arms and N3-rated Michelin Pilot Sport tyres with full geometry setup.
