2004 LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO - MANUAL

This Lamborghini Gallardo is a thrilling analogue supercar, presented in good condition, and in a vibrant factory colour with intriguing provenance. Under the engine lid is a glorious 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V10 producing 513bhp, paired with the rare and sought-after six-speed open-gate manual transmission. The odometer indicates 29,612 km.

Built in 2004, it is understood that this car returned to Lamborghini S.p.A. very soon after delivery as the first owner did not complete the payment for the vehicle. It was then retained at the Lamborghini factory for several years, residing in the CMF (Colour, Material, Finish) department as a reference model in the studio. The vendor subsequently acquired the car directly from Lamborghini S.p.A. 11 years ago, after it had received a replacement engine, which was due to a recall issue. It has been well maintained during his tenure, but has been driven sparingly in recent years.

The bodywork is reported to be in excellent condition, with no known prior damage to any of the panels. Indeed, the vendor believes that the Arancio Borealis paint is original, and it presents very well overall, though there are some small stone chips visible on the front bonnet. The car remains almost entirely unmodified, though it rides on the later 19-inch alloy wheels from an LP560-4 model.

Its interior continues the vibrant colour scheme, with black leather for the seat bolsters and headrests, and bright orange leather for the seat centre panels - finished with diamond-quilted stitching. There is an Alcantara headlining, and carbon-fibre for the door handle surrounds and the centre console trim. The upholstery is said to be in good condition throughout, and the vendor notes that it has normal wear and tear on the switches and handles. Factory-fitted equipment includes dual-zone climate control, heated seats, and the original media system with satellite navigation, and there are no known electrical faults.

Having seen limited use in recent years, the last scheduled maintenance was in July 2017 at 27,331 km, with an oil service carried out at Lamborghini Munich. Prior to this, in July 2015 at 27,296 km, engine sensors were renewed and the clutch was replaced. A new front boot carpet was also fitted. In July 2014 at 24,711 km, the car received an annual service and renewal of the brake fluid.

Its last TÜV roadworthiness check was in June 2015, and there were no advisories or warnings from this test. All four tyres are reported to be in good condition, date-coded to 2014, and with around 80% of their tread remaining.

Accompanying the car is the original book pack, as shown in the gallery, as well as various invoices, and the tool kit and spare bulb set.

This Lamborghini Gallardo is a stylish modern supercar, which boasts a superb chassis, rewarding handling, and enough comfort to make it a great road trip car. In an era when turbocharging and super-fast automatic transmissions are the norm, the sonorous naturally aspirated V10 and very rare open-gate manual transmission make this Gallardo a wonderfully analogue machine to be relished on the road.
