KEY FACTS

• The final incarnation of the iconic Monaro muscle car, in a limited-edition specification and with very low mileage.
• Under the bonnet is a 6.0-litre small-block LS2 V8 producing 398bhp, driving the rear wheels via a HSV enhanced four-speed automatic transmission.
• First registered on 7 February 2005, this HSV Monaro GTO is build number 97 of just 880 VZ series vehicles and features an impressive service history from new.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

• The GTO features a HSV 6.0-litre LS2 Generation 4 V8, with aluminium block and heads, mated to a HSV performance calibrated HMD 4L65E 4-speed automatic.
• Its factory performance braking system includes 330mm ventilated and grooved front discs, with HSV embossed front callipers in HRT Red, and 315mm ventilated and grooved rear discs.
• The car rides on HSV Z Series Performance 19x8-inch alloy wheels in Chrome Shadow finish.
• Inside, there are electric adjustable leather seats with memory setting, dual-zone climate control, a 10-speaker stereo, rear parking sensors, and cruise control.
• A 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted.
• A Pioneer navigation and CD player head unit is currently installed and the original factory item is also supplied (see photo).
• Supplied with the vehicle are two sets of keys, all the original books and manuals, HSV certificate of authenticity, vehicle inspection report and dealer delivery sheet.

CONDITION

• All factory original paint, protected from new with paint protection coating, which is still on the side skirts and front and rear bumpers. There is a minor dent near the driver’s side rear wheel arch, but no other known panel flaws.
• The exterior of the vehicle presents very well, with the Phantom Black paint having been protected from new with paint protection film. In December 2020, a paint correction was performed, and the vehicle ceramic coated. There is some minor stone chipping at the front of the vehicle, and a small scrape on the underside of the front bumper. The rear bumper has some very minor scratches
• Inside, the HSV GTO presents very well, with the renowned comfort and luxury these vehicles are known for. The black leather features a contrasting white stitch, with the dash, door cards and roof lining all in excellent condition. There are some very minor scuff marks on the driver’s seat bolster.
• There are no known mechanical or electrical faults.

SERVICE HISTORY

• Most recent service work and a roadworthy inspection was done in July 2021 at Elite Automotive and included an oil and filter change, replacing coolant and brake fluid, and to cure some minor oil leaks. A safety certificate was also issued and is valid only for QLD customers if they wish to register this vehicle.
• Prior to this, a service was performed in November 2020 at T&S Automotive, with the odometer reading 19,399km, which comprised an oil and filter change and checkover.
