2004 ASTON MARTIN DB9

KEY FACTS

  • A smart, usable example of the stylish British grand tourer.
  • Under the bonnet sits a sonorous 450hp 5.9-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine, which sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic ‘Touchtronic II’ transmission.
  • First registered in 2005, this DB9 was delivered new by the Kroymans Hilversum Aston Martin dealership.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • With the Touchtronic automatic gearbox, this DB9 makes a particularly excellent long-distance GT car, and was ordered new with sport suspension and a limited-slip differential.
  • There have been no modifications made to the car, with this DB9 remaining in its factory specification.
  • A well-documented service history is included with the car, along with the original handbook and manuals.

CONDITION

  • There is no damage to the bodywork, and no known accident history.
  • The Tungsten Silver Metallic paintwork remains in great condition for its age, showing only minor wear such as stone chips, in keeping with the car’s age and mileage.
  • The original alloy wheels are also in good order, with only a couple of minor kerbing marks.
  • Inside, the Obsidian Black leather interior has surface creasing and light wear visible, but there is no heavy discolouration or damage to the trim. The rear seats are in very good condition, as is the Alcantara headliner which shows no staining or other marks.
  • There are no known faults with the car, and no illuminated warning lights.

SERVICE HISTORY

  • The latest service took place during November 2020 at 142,246km and was performed by Garage Pleogh. This work included an engine oil and filter change, brake and clutch fluid change, and a coolant flush.
  • Prior to this, there are documented services from May 2009 at 106,877km, and in May 2008 at 83,508km, with both carried out by Kroymans.
  • The vendor has fitted a new battery during their ownership.

SUMMARY

In good condition throughout and showing only modest wear for its mileage, this 2004 Aston Martin DB9 is an original Dutch-delivered car benefitting from recent maintenance. It would make a sophisticated daily driver, or a great choice for a long-distance tourer.
