2003 TVR T350T

This TVR T350T is an entertaining and eye-catching British sports car, which has recently been fully re-commissioned and is offered with low mileage. It is equipped with the 350bhp 3.6-litre ‘Speed Six’ engine, coupled with a five-speed manual transmission. The odometer currently indicates 37,421 miles from new.

First registered in October 2003, this TVR has been with its current keeper for seven years. For most of that time it has been in dry storage, but it was treated to a mechanical refurbishment in 2020 including a full engine rebuild and chassis check. The appropriate registration ‘BB53 TVR’ is also included in the sale.

The car’s striking bodywork is all reported to be in excellent shape, and its dark blue paint finish is in good condition. Some minor age-related stone chips can be seen on the front bumper, while the vendor has reported a small blemish on the nearside Targa panel, though these are only visible under very close inspection and do not detract from the overall smart appearance. A small crack is also present at the bottom of the windscreen on the nearside. The vehicle rides on a set of 18-inch seven-spoke alloys, which have only some minor kerbing marks on the front wheels.

Inside, the two-tone blue and tan leather upholstery is described as being in excellent condition. It is believed to be entirely original and presents with some age-related creasing, though there are no rips or tears. A few faint marks can be seen towards the bottom of the leather-clad door cards and dashboard top, while a couple of very light scratches are visible on the brushed metal gear knob and handbrake. An aftermarket Pioneer stereo has been installed, and no electrical faults have been detected.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in March 2020, where technicians at Racing Green Cars carried out a full engine rebuild and chassis inspection. This recommissioning means that the car is now ready to drive following its period in storage. The prior service took place in 2014. 

The most recent MOT test was on 23 September 2020 at 36,908 miles, which resulted in a clean pass with no advisories or defects after the rear tyres and a warning light were attended to. The wheels are wrapped with Toyo tyres, which are in excellent condition.

This TVR T350T is a thrilling performance car, which benefits from a full engine rebuild last year and is finished in a handsome colour scheme. With low mileage and a characterful 3.6-litre flat-six, this lively two-seater is a great modern classic that is ready to enjoy.
