2003 NOBLE M12 GTO-3

KEY FACTS

  • A low-mileage example of the modern classic supercar, with performance modifications and a bold Arancio Borealis colour scheme.
  • It is powered by a modified, rebuilt 3.0-litre Ford Duratec twin-turbo V6, now producing 450bhp and 400lb-ft of torque, coupled to the six-speed Getrag manual transmission and now fitted with a Quaife limited-slip differential.
  • The car had superficial damage to the bodywork 13 years ago, with no damage to the frame or any mechanicals. In repairing this, the owner also took the opportunity to fully repair other scratches and stone chips, and change from its original silver colour to the current hue.
  • The appropriate registration ‘S12 GTO’ is included in the sale.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES

  • Finished in Lamborghini’s Arancio Borealis colour, its roof has been wrapped in a chequered black finish, and there is a carbon-fibre rear wing.
  • Inside, the sport seats are trimmed in two-tone Alcantara and are equipped with Willians harnesses.
  • Its V6 engine has been remapped by Jetstream Motorsport to produce 450bhp and 400lb-ft of torque, now also featuring a Pro Alloy intercooler, a Bosch fuel pump, forged pistons, refurbished turbos, a baffled sump, uprated injectors, improved valve springs and a tunnel cooling modification. A hand-built three-inch stainless steel exhaust has been installed.
  • The car also has an uprated clutch with billet pressure plate, and a Quaife limited-slip differential.
  • It rides on EXE-TC four-way adjustable coilover shock absorbers, specifically calibrated for the car. The suspension arm bushings have all been upgraded to rose joints.
  • An aftermarket JVC stereo head unit has been fitted, with Bluetooth, USB connectivity, and DAB digital radio capability.
  • Its original owner’s manuals will be included, along with evidence of the service history and a raft of maintenance invoices.

CONDITION

  • Its Arancio Borealis paintwork was resprayed around three months ago to rectify some light stone chips and scratches, though a few marks can still be seen on the front bumper and black splitter.
  • Inside, the Noble bucket seats have a few light creases, and some wear to the outer bolster on the driver’s seat, which is commensurate with the mileage.
  • The speedometer currently works intermittently.
  • The most recent MOT test was on 7 May 2021 at 27,206 miles, which was a clean pass with no advisories or defects.
  • A HPI check indicates that the car previously suffered from damage in late 2008 or very early 2009, being categorised as a Category D insurance loss in January 2009. The damage was repaired, and in late 2010 the colour change was recorded from the original silver to the orange hue.

SERVICE HISTORY

  • Its last routine service was undertaken in March 2020 at around 26,000 miles, where technicians at Autofficina in Epsom changed the engine oil, filter and spark plugs.
  • The engine was rebuilt in October 2019 at Autofficina, where the suspension and brakes were also attended to.
  • Prior to this, similar routine servicing was performed in 2018 at around 20,000 miles, and in 2016 at around 14,600 miles.
