2003 MERCEDES-BENZ (C215) CL500

This 2003 Mercedes-Benz CL500 is a refined grand tourer, presented with low mileage and a rare Cubanite Silver finish. Under the bonnet sits a 5.0-litre V8 engine, producing 302bhp and 339lb-ft of torque, coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission. The odometer currently indicates 55,000 km from new.

First registered in March 2003 in France, this CL500 has been in the hands of its current keeper for five years, and currently resides in Novara, Italy.

The bodywork of this CL500 is in good shape, and the condition of the Cubanite Silver paintwork has been described as excellent. One or two stone chips can be seen on the front end, while a few very small scratches are visible around the door handles, though the light lenses, mirror caps and body trims are all in good order. The vehicle rides on a set of 18-inch five-spoke wheels, which have some kerb scratches around the outer edges, but are certainly presentable.

Inside, the Alpaca Grey leather upholstery is in excellent condition, featuring just some light creasing to the base panels of the electric heated and ventilated front seats. The leather-clad door cards and dashboard are in great shape, both of which are accented by walnut burr inlays, which presents with just a few light scratches. The cabin is equipped with satellite navigation, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, and dual-zone climate control.

The last routine maintenance was undertaken in 2019 at 55,250 km, where technicians changed the engine oil and filter. Prior to this, Mercedes-Benz technicians carried out similar routine maintenance in April 2015 at 54,803 km and in October 2014 at 53,642 km. The tyres are reported to be in good condition, with plenty of tread remaining.

This Mercedes-Benz CL500 is a superb example of the marque's luxury grand tourer, with a rare factory colour and a well-equipped and cosseting interior. A low-mileage example of the breed, this CL500 would make an effortless long-distance cruiser or a refined daily runner.
