CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage, save for one small dent at the front of the passenger door.
• Thought to be original, the Brilliant Silver paintwork is in good overall condition, with a few small marks around the car including stone chips on the nose, scuffs on the lower front bumper, flaking in the lower front grille opening and a scuff on the driver’s-side of the rear bumper.
• There are also small areas of bubbling on the rear wheel arches and at the bottoms of both doors.
• The grey leather-clad interior presents very well, and while there is some minor wear on the seat bolsters and a few nicks on the driver’s door card, this is commensurate with the car’s age.
• There are no known electrical or mechanical faults on the vehicle, and the computer is displaying the message ‘No Malfunction’, for added peace of mind.
• The only known issue is that the car’s spare key does not work.
• The car’s last MOT test was conducted on 17 March 2021 at 45,414 miles, resulting in a first-time pass without a single warning or advisory.

SERVICE HISTORY

• This CL500’s most recent routine maintenance was a general ‘B’ service and brake fluid change, which was carried out in February 2020 at 44,131 miles by Mercedes-Benz specialist Scotts Auto Tec, Leeds.
• Prior to this, the last two services on record were performed in October 2017 at 32,268 miles and in July 2013 at 21,751 miles, when the spark plugs, air filter, and brake fluid were changed.
• All four tyres were replaced in 2020, and have covered less than 500 miles since then.

SUMMARY

This Mercedes-Benz CL500 is a solid example of the C215-generation luxury grand tourer, finished in a timeless factory colour scheme and offered for sale with low mileage from new.
