CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• Presented in its original black with silver racing stripes, and having been recently detailed it is in excellent condition.
• Interior in superb order, with all gauges and switches operating as they should.
• The owner reports the air-conditioning requires re-gassing and that the left rear tyre has a slow leak.

SERVICE HISTORY

• The vehicle was most recently serviced in April 2021 with new Nulon Racing oil, oil filter and engine tune.
• Since 2016 the car has been maintained and refurbished by ex-Jordan F1 engineer, Robert Palermo of RP Motorsport Development.
• In August 2020 it received an improved accelerator system, engine bay re-wire, catalytic converter check, and spanner check of the suspension.
• In March 2020 it was given an overhaul of the suspension, replaced lower ball joints and steering rods, overhauled steering rack, and replaced worn bushes.

SUMMARY

This Roaring Forties GT40 replica is a true one-of-a-kind vehicle, and a faithful recreation of the iconic 1966 Le Mans-winning car of Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon. Commissioned by its owner who was actually there to see the victory in 1966, it has wonderful provenance, and it has been fastidiously maintained since completion. With a well-sorted driveline and stunning custom interior, this GT40 would make for a very fast road car and a superb addition to any collection.
