• Its original owner’s manuals, service book and space saver wheel are included, along with a complete history of maintenance invoices and two key fobs, though only one is fully functional.

CONDITION

• No known bodywork damage.
• Its resprayed Brilliant Blue finish is in excellent condition overall, with a few stone chips noted on the front end, and general ‘road rash’ marks on the inner edges of the wheel arches. In 2016, it was subject of a glass-out repaint, which also included replacement of both front wheel arches with OEM items, which are known weak spots on the 156.
• The headlight lenses were restored in March 2021, and the brake callipers were repainted in February 2021.
• Inside, its black leather upholstery has some surface wear to the outer bolsters of the front seats, and general minor creasing elsewhere.
• No electrical faults have been detected.
• The most recent MOT test was on 6 October 2020 at 121,832 miles, which was a clean pass with no advisories or defects.

SERVICE HISTORY

• In November 2020, the underside was given a Waxoyl coating at Before ‘N’ After Rustproofing in Rugby, which comes with a ten-year anti-corrosion warranty.
• Its most recent service was in August 2020 at 120,473 miles, where technicians at Autodelta in Watford changed the engine oil and filter, before replacing seized track rod ends and an inner driveshaft gaiter, also fitting the car’s adjustable coilover kit.
• In September and November 2016, the car was taken to NJS Motor Vehicle Services in Pershore for full engine and gearbox rebuilds.
